Mako, though, was absolutely a Cancer! The constant brooding over everything and nothing, the way he always wore his father's scarf, and the vulnerability he showed with Asami all scream Cancer to me.

The condescension was, to me, more his lack of trust in Korra, which I totally identify with. Takes time for me to trust people, though my Libra rising means I'm usually much nicer to people than he was lol.
His absolute focus clicked with me too; when he's in the arena, it's go time and nothing is gonna shake his concentration.!
Meh, I still say Cancer. All my previous points, plus:
Choosing Asami was about their instant connection, the way Cancers and Scorpios do. The money was an after-bonus.
Korra kissed him, he kissed back, then acting innocent; total Cancer indecisiveness. I forget how exactly that scene goes, though, so I don't know what you mean by "acting innocent".
Fighting for what you believe in; could go either way. Everyone can fight for what they believe in. Cancers can be tenacious bastards when we believe in something, cause we can't help but follow our feelings on it.
On to another topic though; what about Last Airbender characters?
Zuko; total Scorpio. His obsession, intensity, all of it! He even goes through the transformation from scorpion to eagle to phoenix over the course of the show. I love it! 😄
What about Iroh? I have no idea, but he was bar-none my favorite character of either show! 😄😄😄

On those points too, I see Cancer. I'm a bossy big brother to my Gemini friend, and I have been known to take some stupid risks at times. Plus it's a kids hero TV show, of COURSE they're gonna take risks!

Did anybody else notice how some of the characters (if not all) had personalities based around zodiac signs?
Korra struck me as a Taurus, though I would say she has influences from possibly Aries or something to explain her hot-headed impatience.
