So, based on what I have read anyone born I the same year, and possibly over different generations, wI'll have the same planets. Is this correct?
It's based on the time it takes the planets to orbit the sun, so the longer a planet takes to orbit, the more years it takes for it to move into a different sign. Mercury is the fastest, Pluto the slowest.

Below is from http://astrologyyard.com/planets/planets.php

Inner Personal Planets

Every planet orbits the sun at a different speed, going slower and slower the farther they are from the sun. Planets visible to the naked eye; the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars and Venus are the closest "inner" planets and move quickly through the zodiac. As a result they affect your day-to-day life therefore are the "personal" planets.

Outer Transpersonal Planets

The invisible "outer" or "transpersonal" planets; Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto, move slowly changing signs every one to fifteen years. As a result, they shape the bigger trends in your life. Neptune, Uranus and Pluto are said to shape entire generations as they orbit the sun so slowly.

The Inner and outer planet descriptions are from the link in my post, as you probably figured out.

Sorry for the formatting/spacing. I'm still learning how DXP handles text I include on the same line as a link. It removes it, I guess, or it did in this case.

What was omitted from my post was explaining that the info is from that link. 🙂
Haha, thanks. So, than some people would have the same "outer" planets as other, but differing "personal" planets. It seems to match up. I just wanted to make sure I was understanding it right. Everyone in my birth year will have the same "outer planets" and possibly other birth years, depending on the planet and its speed.
