Could you date someone who is secretive and lies??

Just as the topic says.. Could you be with someone who was secretive and told lies often?
Which sign have you had experience with that was like this?

for me it was....... wait for it....pisces!

personally, don't think lies and secrecy mesh well when looking for something serious and long term.

You have to differentiate here. Lies - no go. Somebody who is a liar can't be trusted and I would definitely not date somebody whom I caught lying about essential things repeatedly.

Now secretive is another thing.. Is that person really being secretive or just private with his/her business?

My boyfriend sometimes accuses me of being secretive, that's why I know how it feels to be on the other side. He always wants to talk about my past and know all the details, because he is not very secure and is a naturally suspicious person. It's very draining to deal with that.

Even if the lies being told were minimal and of an arbitrary nature I wouldn't be able to trust that person, and where there isn't trust, there isn't a relationship for me however casual it may be kept.

Privacy I don't mind in the slightest as I enjoy my own and require a certain amount of respect for that. Secrecy on the other hand, true secrecy, would lead me towards distrust though as that only gives me reason to believe they actually have something to hide. While their secrets may not necessarily be negative, my default position is to assume that they are and the imagined is almost always worse than the reality.

Can't say that I relate those attributes to any particular sign. Perhaps because I have such a low tolerance for them, I don't allow for much experience gain.

No. I demand total transparency in a relationship. Lies ruin everything for me. It's hard for me to trust people as it is, so when people constantly lie it intensifies my trust issues to the point where I don't want to get close to anybody. Nothing's worse than always being doubtful/suspicious just because someone chose to make lying their hobby. The relationship has no future so it's better to just let them grow their nose elsewhere.

Secrets annoy me, but I have my ways of getting the truth out somehow because I hate to feel like something's being kept from me. That shit has a special scent & I pick up on it immediately. In short... make me your priest & tell me everything before I sniff it out of the atmosphere...I can.

My nearest dearest bestie is a Virgal.. When we were younger she would lie about the time of day! It got so bad we all think she had herself believing her lies.. As we have matured she still lies but it's not anything like before.. Also my Virgo make friend was full of little white lies.. I hate that shit... I have told my kids DO NOT LIE TO ME!! Whatever it is I can handle any truths you put me through but cut the crap! Hate it! Might be my Libra sun and the love of justice?!

I'm sure most of you wouldn't break up with someone over white lies, and truth is everyone tells those.

So yeah, if it's a white lie I can deal with it. But honesty in general is very important to me, which means I'm not a fan of secrecy. Privacy is one thing, but when you're in a committed relationship I do not want to deal with someone that closes up in the disguise of "being private". Lay your cards on the table or go be "private" on your own.

Don't get me wrong I do think people should have their own space, I certainly need mine but imo when looking for a life partner I think being open and honest is essential.

As in which signs are more prone to it, I really cannot single out any sign tbh. I've seen deception from every zodiac sign.

A guy lied about his age & I didn't break up with him. Stupid lies due to insecurity are kind of cute...it's the seriousness & the size of it that makes it tolerable or not. I don't care when people lie about how much they earn etc, but lying about things that could hurt once they come out...the buck stops right there for me.

Being secretive can change, I also don't give my life story on the first,second, or third date and would feel funny about someone who did.

In my experience though this is Scorpio (men) 100% .
