it's definitely about communication. i have the trine. merc is also in my 6th. i'm sposd to be a good short story writer apparently.
they're also both strong. neptune and merc are in their natural houses. then your merc is domicile too. but they oppose so it could be something about secrets, deceit, cloudy judgment, etc... i know neptune isn't so nice wherever it's placed. people don't usually pay attention to it but i think it's one of the baddies.
Hmmm, interesting!! I wonder if this is why I have chosen men in the past that have deceived me, my gut told me they were but I believed the words b/c I didn't have proof until it was too late. Maybe, this is why I ignore my intuition at times.
My mercury does trine Pluto but that is in the 10th house.
The biggest difference from the opposition compared with the square, is that you are likely to end up in all these kinds of situations that actually isn't your direct fault, but more to do with your surroundings.
You could very likely be the person who says the wrong thing at the wrong time. And you could be the person who says things that is being misunderstood by others without you really realise it, or it could be the other way around. You hear stuff and misjudge everything, but it's not really your fault.
I have the square, and I just suck at any form of communication, and it is probably also my own fault. But with the opposition it is a little bit more complex- but the solution could be even harder to find than with the square. The square demands some kind of hard work, very hard work. The opposition demands some kind of awareness and insight, and maybe just experience with different kinds of situations. I think the opposition gets better with age, and the more life-experience you get, the lesser problematic it will get. Where as the square will never get better, unless you work hard on it.
