I met this virgo man at work. It took him a very long time to warm up to me, but eventually, we started talking over time and hung out in group settings. Whenever we went out as a group, he and I would end up in our own little conversations. I left that job, but we still kept light contact because we have mutual friends and would see each other at gatherings. We never talked on the phone or text, but we had each others number due to the company pushing us to have all of the employee phone numbers. I never thought he saw me as a close friend or anything, but I secretly developed a crush on him. He contacted me via text to let me know he was layed off, and vented to me which shocked me. This was something personal and he is so secretive and keeps his feelings in check, so the fact that he expressed his anger and frustration was a surprise to me. It was an even bigger surprise that I was the one he chose to vent to. I gave him genuine concern and compliments. I told him that I'm here whenever he wants to vent. His response was "I love to hear that from you". He said he wanted me to still touch base with him even though he doesn't work there any more. Does he finally see me as a close friend now? Do I mean more to him than I thought? Real answers please.
