Libra 1 Cancer moon

Hello. I am new to this internet forum thing. But I am looking for some answers. I met a man that said he is Libra 1 with Cancer moon. I have no idea what that means. Can anyone help me with that? his DOB is 9/30/72. Thanks

Cancer Moon
Libra Mercury
Leo Venus
etc...

The natal chart will also give some descriptions. Here is an over simplified version of how it goes. The signs give characteristics, Libras are peaceful, Cancers are emotional, etc. The planets say which aspect of you gets those characteristics; Sun is your outward personality, Mercury effects communication, Venus is how you love, etc.

Also: every sun sign is split into "decans". A decan relates to the week in which you were born. "Libra 1" means he's a Libra born in the first decan(September 25 - October 2). Cafeastrology will tell you about Libras, and will also go into detail about the decans.
