Add to the above posters comments the following....

Being feminine is all that plus ATTITUDE!

It can not be learned. It sounds like you want to get mens opinions of what THEY think feminity is and then transform yourself into what a BB Libra or Taurus male(s) thinks? That will never work. Know why? It's not being the real you. It's something you're either born with or not. It's a "feeling of being". Granted you haven't given your age and that will most definitely be a factor. If you tell us that you're 19 than I can understand you asking but if much older say 25+ I can honestly say you missed "the ship while it was in port" if you know what I mean.

And besides if you have to go all out of your way to be someone or something that you REALLY aren't (regardless of the age) for a man how long do you think the relationship is going to last? Remember a guy will care for the "real you" that's why no woman should put on a facade. It'll only backfire when the "real you" comes out hiding or gets sick of playing a "character she's really not". And why not let a guy see the real you to begin with?

I can see where both writers are coming from. 12 is talking about constructed ideas of being feminine, usually created by the media and how woman are subconsciously ruled by this.

To me, Femininity and masculinity are ways of expressing our 'femaleness' or 'maleness', where we get these ideas and where they originate is another story. The media, for example, plays a big part in this by creating or reinforcing stereotypes of how a man or woman should 'look' and behave.
According to the media a 'real' woman, for example, should have long hair, big breasts and attend to the family. A 'real' man should be tough, rough and hardy and not cry!!! I dont know if i agree with these concepts. For me a real woman is someone who knows she's attractive no matter what. A real woman has belief in herself and is not bought and sold by the media. Really deep attractiveness is that belief in yourself 🙂

A cake would be fine 216!!!

As well as that, we are living in a male dominated world (i know i am straying from the post here but bear with me, im on a rave...). You only have to look at business, politics and entertainment to see that women are scarce and even when they're not, they are redundant by a certain age!!!

Men are so threatened by our power that they continually have to repress us!!! Its funny though, we tend to take on the roles that men assign to us automatically, without question. I think we do it subconsciously. Its also funny how we like to stay in the boxes created for us by men (and ourselves really)...

The classic example is if a woman sleeps around, she's a slut. If a man sleeps around, he's a stud. If a woman stands up for herself she's 'aggressive', if a man stands up for himself, he's 'assertive'...!!!

Gee whiz, its all too hard sometimes. I say just have fun and have a good life.
