"Imagine going to some lengths to procure the seed of a rare and valuable flower. You bury it, you water it and then you begin to feel dismayed because no shoots are appearing. Does this mean you should dig it up and plant daffodils instead? Apply just a little more patience to your project. You may not yet be able to get a clear idea of how long it is going to take. You may not even be entirely sure that it will ever come to fruition. But something drew you to it in the first place. Trust that impulse."

Boy, this sure rings true for me!!!

I thought, are we talking about something deeper than a plant or am I just being too analytical. But I do think we are on the same wavelenght.

I have found that the plants at my desk at work live/grow very well. Now, that could be that I run my mouth alot at my desk talking to everyone from coworkers to friends, family and of course my sweetie pie, which in return has given my plants enough oxygen to live more lives than a frisky feline. But I really do think talking to them works. Sounds stupid, but how else is my orchid still alive after 4 months.
