CS: No, not the midheaven lol 🙂
A midpoint is the mathematical exact centre point between 2 placements in a chart, such as the sun and the moon. Supposedly they are quite sensitive points to an individual, and other placements that are strongly aspecting (conjunct, square, opposition are the basic ones) these midpoints reveal more about the person that the chart is for (I am only looking at the midpoints that involve personal planets at this stage). At least, this is my understanding based on my research so far.

I have just run a grid on astro.com (in the extended chart selection menu, pullen/astrolog group, chart type: Aspect/midpoint grid), and while one half shows my midpoints, the other half seems to be showing the aspects that are apparent in my normal natal chart - not what aspects are being made with the midpoints.
Quite a few of the midpoints between my personal planets occur in scorpio (ie: sun-moon MP, venus-mars MP), i'm not sure what to make of it though? Do midpoints mean much on their own, or only when in aspect with another placement? For reference, i'll post the grid below.
Thanks 🙂
