Moving Day by the Signs`

Just my observations from moving this weekend.

Aries: Bossy, takes charge, vocal, only accepts his way of doing things. Works hard. Keeps people moving, lights a fire under everyone to get 'r done.

Taurus: Didn't have any helping. In the past, they were strong and got a lot done. Kept end result in sight.

Gemini: None helping this weekend, but in the past, haphazard and loading things without thinking about the ride and possibility of damage. Though did get a lot of things done quickly.

Cancer: Showed up late. Wasn't really committed to getting the job done. Did clean some after things were moved out.

Leo: Never moved with a Leo.

Virgo: Very organized with packing and had loading system down so the things you need most when you get there are either separately loaded in a car or loaded first so they can be unloaded last.

Libra: None this weekend, but in the past very easy going and strong. Happy to receive direction from the Sag and Aries.

Scorpio: Has ideas of how to do things, yet goes along with Aries's ideas, even they don't agree. Very obvious look on the face that the scorp thought things could be done a better way.

Sag: Two sags helped. One took over for me and was good at giving direction and kept everyone busy. The other just saw what needed to be done and worked independently all in her own little world. Both stayed busy and got a lot accomplished.

Capricorn: Me. Grateful to the sag for taking over. Trying to keep up with what was going where and being put where, but felt overwhelmed when I couldn't keep up. Two other cappys just jumped in and took charge of an area. Got that loaded and worked independently with each other. Kept things organized where they could be found later.

Aquarius: Task oriented. Loaded things very particularly so items would have minimum damage. Different style of loading from anyone else but things arrived with minimal of damage. Lots of fun teasing with smartass remarks.

Pisces: Got a lot done, jumped in without needing direction. Several beer and smoke breaks.

Lol @ different style of loading, that gave me a mental image of a huge bed balancing on top of a cup.

last time,my Leo father-in law helped me on day one,with Virgo politness I showed him respect and let him take the lead,what followed can only be discribed as organized chaos

the following day my Scorpio friend helped me,done twice as much in half the time

eveyone sucked on moving day

a scorpio-father
a virgo-step brother
a aries- twin bro
and a aqau-step dad

never again will I ask family or friends.

most of my friends who mind you were unemployed gave some lame excuses.

the second time i moved i got movers and thats how ill do it going forward.

The only person who was huge help was my leo bestie. After moving all my crap i went to get my hair done because I had work on Monday and was looking too crazy. When I came home that girl had organized my whole apartment. all I had to do was clean. she stayed over for like 3 days too just to make sure shit was situated. I am forever grateful, cuz I have a ton of stuff.

even my mother (cancer) flaked out of all people. She called me the day before I was moving to tell me she couldnt drive the uhaul because she was going to visit my aunt in Jersey. Mind you I told her well in advance she just thought visiting my aunt was important. I was actually really upset and bit depressed when I finally moved because I felt that no one was helping me or even cared. I iced out my mom for a whole month after actually my whole family. They didnt sent me off with well wishes at all. and i never ask them for anything. I felt really alone. never again.

* Note, a consensus of three constitutes "all" in my book. 😄

I have to move soon and even though it's a better fit overall, I am dreading it!

It saves money to do it yourself and you have more control over what is being put where.
