picses loves scorp man....HELP!

i consider myself a responsible, sensible, professional adult..but last year around this time i met my scorp dude. the last year has been an on again/off again undefined "relationship" of sorts. He fits the description of the wounded scorp. He is really an awesome, kind man, but he cuts things off cold for awhile, and well...does all the other scorp tests....

im trying to be patient, and he has actually challenged me to be a more patient person without trying. his birthchart has some sucky aspects, but mine compared with his have numerous trines and sextiles, including venus. only one square: my mercury squares his. (this is the only potential dude who has so many positive aspects with mine, and i felt a purpose with him that was unexplainable since the day we met.)

any other's have any similar stories or any advice??
im on a "dont ever contact me again" phase right now and its killing me...well, not as much as the first time, cuz ive got him figured out, but i hate wasting time in this scorp testing phase.

i am pisces. and i do love my scorp dude. everything ive learned about scorpio's survival instincts kicking in and the tests are sooo true. I'm a thick scaled fish though. (hehe) get this:

my venus opposite his sun (taurus oppostite scorp)
his venus opposite my sun (virgo oppostite pisces)
my venus trines his venus
my sun trines his sun (obviously)

venus/sun opposite is supposedly a very good thing. and its double!
what do ya all make of that? perhaps ill wait it out a bit..he is a good guy. and we pisces are suckers for this stuff...a man thats strong and controlling in the right ways, but really needs his wounded soul nursed back to health..
