The Cancer Boss and The Leo Supervisor

How are they as supervisors? If you are a Cancer or Leo Supervisor how do you operate?

Myself I'm a hands off person when I worked as a supervisor I observed the employees if I seen something that I didn't like I stepped in I wasn't a control freak yes I did butt heads at times but 90% of the time I was hands off. I knew what strengths the employees had they took care of what they were good at.

And what is your sign?

I've worked for a couple leos and I'm a leo myself. No idea their moon though. The leo manager was very pushy, loud, and an undercover ego that made her think she was the best suited to do anything difficult.

She spread herself very thin. She was on a cancer cusp so she was very nurturing though. Helped me get thru a rough time personally.

My current leo boss is a lot less evolved. He steals ideas and takes a lot of credit for himself. He recently stole an idea I had and is pushing it to his boss as his idea and saying it'll increase revenue, blah blah blah. He's also lazy and when helping it somehow ends up being about how he solved this before or some story about him.

Cancer

Interesting feedback. The Cancer here is pretty type A, hardcore, on emails after 11 at night, a perfectionist. She is friendly but stern and intimidating to me. I just never feel like I have a good enough read on her and find myself walking on egg shells because she can be critical too. She isnt the type to micromanage you but she expects things just so, that only you would know if you worked with her long enough.

The Leo is more meek but she is easily frazzled all over the place. does not micromanage but stretches herself thin a lot. Tries to do it all. She can become passive aggressive if something has festered for too long. She also does not speak up for herself or her team and can sometimes let you get thrown under bus to cover her skin. For the most part we are super super cool but then if she's stressed things can get blown out od proportion on her end in terms of what she gets angry about...again its passive too.

I can't speak for Cancer, but my cousin is an assistant manager. We were both supervisors at the same place, but after I got out she got promoted to assistant manager. We had very different managing styles, of course, but we let each other do our own thing.

She laughs and jokes around if it's slow, but if it's busy she does take her work seriously. She puts the customers first (if they're assholes, she talks shit after they leave lol), she can be strict and pretty bossy if need be. She'll yell at her employees just to get an annoying guest off her back, but then apologizes for being a bitch after they leave. Hard worker, for sure! One thing that definitely stands out, is that she gets frazzled easily, she's easily stressed and it will show. Just the smallest rush and she feels the pressure. I've told her this and she agrees.
