Vedic Astrology

How accurate is Vedic astrology? Is one more accurate then the other?

In Western Astrology I am:

Aries Sun
Aries Moon
Pisces Mercury
Pisces Mars
Taurus Venus

but in Vedic Astrology I am:

Pisces Sun
Pisces Moon
Pisces Mercury
Pisces Mars
Aries venus


I never really considered vedic astrology seriously but, It would explain why a lot of the times I don't really feel like an Aries.

Vedic didn't work for me. But the whole idea makes a lot of sense, I have to say.

Why didn't it work for you?

Mainly because no matter how many times I read my Vedic chart. I was never able to answer one single question. Also no other questions were coming into my mind.

It didn't really felt like my chart.

What questions do you mean?

Questions about myself. I was kind of "lost" at that time so I was looking for answers. Western astrology gave me some of those answers. Or rather, it directed me to the right path so I could answer those questions by myself.

It's bullshit I tell you. Good for dashas (life events) and nothing else. Which, Western astrology does juuuuust fine. More than fine actually.

Also, fuck ophiuchuses. Thinking you can come up in here and just throw the 13th sign in the middle of the freaking Zodiac like it's nobody's buisness and shift us all over to make room for you. NUH-UH! I don't think so gurl.

Why you sometimes don't feel like an Aries? Because, you aren't an aries. You're an Aries Sun, Aries Moon, Pisces Merc, and some Ascendant. A culmination of all these various things. You aren't definied by a single placement, aspect, or position. Though some have stronger influences on your personality than others.

And then when we consider your progressed chart..

I won't even get into that 😛

Yes, you make a very good point, and yeah I don't believe in that orpheous thing etiher.

Vedic confuses me.
I like to stick with stuff that isnt doom and gloom.

Sun is in Aquarius in western. Capricorn in vedic.

Yeah, Vedic is way more complicated so I guess that's why people prefer using western. However, Vedic works for quite a lot of people so I don't see why you shouldn't use it, FieryAries. If you feel more comfortable using, then I suggest you stick with it. Whatever works for you it's good.
