How do you handle your jealousy in relationships? What about your need to protect/possess your loved one? I have a knee-jerk reaction to feeling disrespected or being made a fool of by the objection of my affection, even if it's not a concrete relationship yet but well on its way to being so. I've been told I love too hard in the past. And have high standards when it comes to how I'm treated. Little things that a Venus in a fire sign or air sign would find frivolous set me off, and make me question loyalty rather quickly.

I can only imagine a Venus in water or another earth sign relating to this, or a fixed Venus in general lol

Any thoughts?

well one thing i noticed is that venus in tauri are quick to render judgement on something very petty even when a relationship isnt even established. people are just figuring each other out.

Yes.

And even if established, they'll jump to a conclusion of disloyalty/disrespect based on one misunderstanding rather than look at the big picture.

I can have a quick reaction in love, yes. And I may think I need to pull back from a situation, feeling like there's a lack of security. However, once the dust settles, I can reassure myself and remember my communicative and understanding Libra dominance -- it helps a lot. I'm Taurus dominant as well, but I get to have both perspectives from time to time.
Also, Taurus Venus may jump to a quick conclusion due to our strong fear of being hurt, however we dig our heels in when we really feel a deep connection. We don't rage quit, just because something upset us.

Oh I know you didn't, what just clarifying. I tend to explain a lot lol also, those assumptions have just come paired with the idea that Venus in Taurus has a compulsion to be so hellbent about certain details and loyalty. At least, in my experience they have. Wasn't meant as an accusatory statement against you.
Venus in Taurus can be a little scary sometimes, even to the chart holder lol that's why I was curious about experience that fellow VIT folks have had with the placement.
