Hmmm..... Why would you send him an email? Why not discuss these feelings you have with him directly, face-to-face? Cancers are the ones that are indirect with their communication, but we admire and respect other people's DIRECTNESS! I am sure it was a heartfelt email and if he really cares about you, or at the very least still wants you around as a FWB, he will respond.
Give it time.... If it takes him a week or more to respond, then trust me when I say, you have NOT been on his mind and you are not a priority to him.
Just wait it out.
