What are you second to? I think this cancer either was terrified of settling down or getting you pregnant, was confused about you, does love you but isn't ready for a commitment or doesn't really care about you at all. Just by your info about him not showing any concern when you were pregnant and bleeding, I'd say he doesn't care about you. But then again I don't know the dynamics between you two. I don't know his or your personality etc. Maybe he feels like you don't have all of your ducks in a row and feels like he can't take you seriously (too many obstacles he has to get through to commit to you). No offense, I'm only looking at the info given, but I wouldn't take anyone whose living with their ex and his family (and pregnant with someone else's child) seriously. I wouldn't put you in a position to get too close to me or hurt me in the future if I see you don't make good decisions.
