Cancer traits, help please?

I wouldn't mind knowing a few things about a cancer, I was with my cancer women for 10 months but she got 'confused' about how she felt (and this was her first relationship)

so do cancers usually get confused in relationships at some stage on how they feel, it kinda came out of the blue and now she wants to be best friends?

another is do cancers find it hard to let go of the past, since she keeps reminising and getting upset about the past although she dumped me?

third, she still treats me like her number one reassures me she doesn't like anyone, and bodily contact grosses her out, she gets quite close to me and wants to hang out alot round college, is that normal for a cancer?

and finally! since we didn't have a friendship to begin with could we rekindle the fire by becoming close friends since we missed that part and eventually get back together?

Yes I can get confused in relationships if I can't have the person the way I want them.
I have gotten confused if he's not really my type but somehow makes me happy.
