We're known for being real tight with our families and yeah gotta say the men are known for being "mama's boys." I'm a Cancer lady and I really don't dig Cancer men but that's me. They're devoted when they're in love but yeah they're whiny (more so than us ladies, who are just moody as hell and crazy generally speaking), they like to pose at being super manly to disguise their emotions & vulnerabilities and they need to and probably never will cut the apron strings.

Thank you all for your responses, BTW I never said there was something wrong about a guy being close to his mother I just read about it in every description about Cancer males and I was curious about your opinions....

My Cancer is close to his whole family and he and his mom are in contact pretty often, I love this about him, he pretends to be aggravated every time he has to talk to her when I am around but I know he loves his mom and his whole family, they are very close and that is very important to me since I am the same.
He is not a mama's boy by any means and he doesn't hate or can't stand his mom which IMO is the perfect balance 🙂

My son is an amazing young man. I, his amazing mother.
Trust that he is his own almost 17 year old self. He didn't nurse overlong when wee and has always been so mellow and sweet.
I think it's terrific that he can swoop me up for a big bear hug after visits with his father or if I've had a brutal day. He's far too cool for a kiss on the cheek. Maybe when my cheek is lined.
I love my son very much. It is my hope that he never causes a lady undue pain. That he's a gentleman. Kind and true.
No apron strings necessary.
