Does it mean he cares

Ok there was lots of drama over my breakup with a cancer. And then we agreed to a few dates together...They havent happened yet.

I got into some family issues and lost someone very close to me. I told him and he seemed uninterested he just didn't care....He knew the person well.

So I went quiet for a few days....Suddenly Mr cancer was texting asking if I was ok. If I wanted to talk. Called me and chatted for an hour and a half.
The next day he was gone again...didn't see the need for us to speak anymore. So I stay quiet trying to deal with all that's happening and he starts sending me inspirational messages etc.

When I respond...He stops.

So then I finally meet him for a bit and afterwards ask if he is mine again and he says not yet...but he holds me and kisses me goodbye.

Are these signs that he cares....He wants us back together

you really want to know how he feels about you then tell him you're dating someone else and see how he reacts. If he brushes it off with an aloof attitude like he doesn't care or if he says "I wish you two the best" then he really doesn't care. However, if he expresses any type of negative emotion about it or begins probing you with questions, he still cares.

it's funny you mentioned this. Everyone's saying you shouldn't try to make a cancer man jealous cause he would see through it and will most likely drive him away!

Ok this is my ex. If I tell him I'm dating someone else...He will be devastated. He can't take people moving on to quickly. The thing he values most is loyalty.

Cause I was horrible...totally gutted him. Ripped 5 wonderful years to shreds....i understand him making me stew
