I guess you need to give us more details, what kinda differences? Not enough information to give u advice.
i always brought up the bad stuff and not enough good stuff which made him feel unappreciated and we argued alot he says i started most of them

Is he right? I mean are you really starting all the arguments?
i would start a conversation which we BOTH would turn into an argument, he as an issue admitting faults, but that's neither here nor there, what should i do now?

Thing is if he said he does not want to work things out it means that you'll have to chase him. So you said that your conversation ends up in fights and that means that you can't agree in anything right? So why you want somebody that you can't have a normal conversation without turning this into a fight?
You can have him back but if you guys can't talk to each other without arguing what's the point of being together?
I meant to say it only turns into a argument when I bring up a problem we can have regular conversations it's just when there's an issue that needs to be brought up it turns into an argument and you said I would have to chase him? what does that consist of?
