I don't believe normal exists and I think we're all sensitive souls. I'm a Cancer with Venus in Gemini too. You're gemini with venus in Cancer. That can well indicate that you're attracted to cancers. Venus represents what we love. Mars in Cancer indicates that you'll be motivated by feelings. That can be a dangerous combo b/c mars is aggressive and wants to make war. Cancer energy will blunt that but maybe that's not so bad. That's about all I got in terms of generalities. Hope it helps and really, there's nothing wrong with you. You're unique. Bravo!
You have the same placements as one of my best friends! Aside from our libra and Aquarius moons, I've always wondered if it was because our reverse venus we are so close? Me gem, venus in cancer. Her cancer, venus in gem? Very intersting.
My mom and grandpa are also cancers and I am especially close to them. My bf is a Scorpio with a Capricorn venus and Scorpio mars.
I'm a Gem Sun with Venus and Rising Cancer; Mars Taurus. I can be emotional but I won't show it. My Gem sun makes me think logically about a situation after I find myself being emotional about it. A good balance I think. I used to hate my Cancer placements because I thought them to make me weak. However I think it balances out the aloofness of my sun sign. I also have a Libra moon. I'm good with my Cancer placements because I've accepted them and understand how they help me!
Yeah but I can also not think things through and say things to others that they find insensitive/rude. Or interrupt/completely graze over what they are saying and be rather self absorbed, although I don't mean to. And then the high sensitivity.
Why do I keep hearing things like, Cancer is not so good to have in mars and it could be passive aggressive? I would prefer to have a fire mars. Although I like how my bfs Scorpio mars compliments my placements.
And even though I get along very well with my friend who has Gemini venus, guys with air venus and mars tend to run away from me (or Aries/sag venus) because I'm emotional, clingy, and needy! Typically those with earth/water placements are fine handling me. Fire mars are ok if the venus is water/earth. Ex was Virgo venus, Leo mars.
Hm. Yeah I do it without realizing...when it's pointed out I feel really bad. I'm not above saying sorry (even if not my fault) to avoid conflict or to smooth things over.
I have a Pisces female friend, she is very blunt. She says, "being self absorbed wont do you well when you get older...it seems like at times you don't realize things until it directly affects you" she means it with love; she's 8 years older than me and says I am her mini me and she was the same way at my age.
My cancer sun, rising venus...Aquarius moon and Gemini venus friend with Aries mars has known me longer (9 years). She won't hesitate to call me out but she understands I don't do this on purpose so she doesn't always expect an apology etc or is okay with this just being my personality.
Pisces will learn; we've been friends only since April but became really close. This is a trait I want to work on more...having more empathy and actually listening to people (I have ADHD too). I have lost friends in the past due to it (obviously not real friends) but I don't want to take my chances with these new people. Longterm cancer, Leo, and libra aren't going anywhere although I DO want to show them change too. I've made progress!
My saturn/uranus/Neptune are all in Capricorn. What does this really do...thought it was really only dependent around time you were born? I know I have a hard saturn aspect when I read my chart.
Errors; meant to say Cancer sun and Pisces sun friend are both Aries rising.
Also, when friends are upset...especially mad at me, it causes me GREAT stress. I used to think if a bf or friend was angry with me, they were going to leave me. Pisces female explained, that without disagreement you cannot have a strong bond..and if one leaves after such, they are not a true friend/partner.
I'm a gem sun, Aquarius rising, libra moon.
My venus and mars are both in Cancer. Could someone tell me more about these placements, or give your experience if you have it?
