Sag father, Libra mother...Cancer child?

We are going to have a baby girl and the due date is set to make her a Cancer (if all goes well and she doesn't come early.)

Her father is an earthy Sag. He is more down to earth and stable, thinks about things from a logical point of view. He has treated me better than I can even describe. He is excited, but what's funny is that he looked up a lot of Sag and Cancer stuff and he said, "It doesn't look good, what if she doesn't like me?" Lol I told him all people are different and sometimes the stuff written is very stereotypical. I'm a Libra but I don't feel like the stereotypical stuff written about Libras is me either.. and I know some crazy ones in real life that are nothing like me. Lol He was half joking of course, and just hopes his baby girl feels loved.

Anyway.. wondering (even though I know you are all different) if you all have any pointers for us as parents to a Cancer child and if you all have any experience with Sag or Libra parents?

Poor baby. Fire and Air signs can be pretty emotionally distant. You will need to empathize and be sensitive to their emotions.

True.. definitely less than most water sign people I know. I am worried about that. Although I do feel as though his Cancer moon makes him more emotional and very sensitive to my emotions. I also have a lot of Scorpio and love intensely/care about others very much so I tend to be the one people go to with their emotional problems.

Don't be so harsh on the child, it's their natural ways to cry and have big tantrums especially when really young, Cancer's however are massively sweet and loyal, love hugs and kisses.

The child will have big changes in emotions and those emotions will show in stuff they do, for example, mommy i want those biscuits... that will be accompanied with tears and loudness, this will be emotional blackmail but the child is unaware of this, it's not against you, it's just their nature.

If it becomes a problem as the child ages then it is time to let the child know that this is not how you get anything from people or life, but i'm guessing you will know when to give advice like this.

She might get along with you really well! Cancerians and Libras are usually good friends in my experience. My most loyal and lifelong friends are Libras.
