T a u r u s Sun & C a n c e r Moon

i was wondering how much the cancer moon affects me, since i'm a taurus. i read that they're pretty different (cancers being emotional and tauruses being not too emotional), so it makes up a for the strangest combination possible. i'm still stubborn and loyal like the bull is, but i am also really sympathetic and completely understanding -- sometimes too much for my own good. this kinda makes me vulnerable, i guess. but i'm also SOOOOOOO damn passionate. butter. i dunno. i think carmen electra has this placement, too. that's y she's more sexually comfortable than some other taurus stars. but our personality is always so hard to describe. i dunno. i don't like it sometimes......

i'm gonna go night night and catch some ZzZzZz's. this weirdo needs to sleep. =]

yep. i think that that's kinda self-explanatory. in my case, i would act like a taurus in every day living (or my rising sign - Sagitarrius), but my cancer moon would come out when i feel like my emotions are playing tricks on me, or when i feel completely at ease. then, i would start being more nurturing and a lot more sensitive when interacting. i also start to build a shell around me as a protective barrier, yet i still let all of my emotions out and completely lose myself. it's like i become two totally different ppl, because the signs are so different when speaking in levels of emotionality. but my boyfriend thinks i'm weird, though. he says he never knows how i would respond, because it's never close to what he would predict. i don't get mood swings and go crazy, though, but i do behave more inconsistently and express myself a bit more differently.

so i'm guessing that in your case, you act like a cancer in real life by being nurturing, shelled, and sensitive on the inside, while possessing a tough exterior. however, during times when your emotions would reach its highs or when you feel extremely comfortable with your surroundings, your taurus moon would come out and make you a strong, stable, stubborn, and dependable person. a taurus moon is pretty good to have when you're a cancer, because they're actually both pretty similar in many ways (love of cooking and love of having a welcoming home). it also makes you control your emotions better, and helps you let go of grudges more efficiently, too.

that's about most of what i've gathered up. i'm still learning, so i'm sure that there's more to it, but this is a cliffs version, so it's more like a boot-legged dvd or something.. lol. but i hope you found that helpful. so you're a cancer? i like water signs. one of my best friends in high school is cancer, and we got along pretty well. i just found out that my ascendant is 21 degrees within Sagittarius. what is that supposed to mean - my rising sign is in sagittarius III? probably. that is leo decante, i believe. hmmmm.. which one is yours in.. ?? tell me how you think ppl see you, if you don't mind.

no problem, gurl. i had fun trying to decipher all that jibber jabber.. lol. i like this stuff becuz it's still a hypothesis that we can't completely prove, while it appears to be a nice, little puzzle with numorous pieces that we can all grab, in order to shape up our overall personality. which kinda works to our advantage in an innocent way. interpreting abstractions is awesome, even though i'm not "supposed" to be fond of that. well, not everyone is 100% of any sign, so yeah.. haha. i'm not crazy about writing unless it's about my opinion. the only essays that i tend to murder with saturation are the ones with controversial views. maybe it's because i'm the taurus with virgo decante (taurus II), so that makes me somewhat of an intellectual. but perfectionism shows up in there, too.. which is something i'm not TOO fond of.. lol.

i'm not sure how i would describe it, but they would normally get the wrong impression. i guess i would seem like i'm everywhere because my rising sign is in sagittarius (i love to laugh and explore all territory), but underneath, i'm very fixed with my emotions. i'll know when i care about something, and i'll put all my effort into it. my boyfriend thought i was a slut at first (well, he thinks all girls are sluts.. lol) and couldn't believe that i was a virgin. but how is that so hard to believe? i've got values, even though i don't appear to at times. i try not to judge someone until i actually get to know them, though, becuz ppl tend to think that they've got me figured out by first glance. i really don't see how that works..

what is the significance of the degrees?

this is late, sorry about that. umm.. i think the degrees separate the ascendant into decantes (like for sun signs), but the differences aren't prolly that noticeable.

my cancer moon is strange. sometimes i feel like i have two personalities. i can be really strong and nothing can break me, or i'll feel really moved by everything and i'll feel inspired to either sing, write music, or both. my hobbies mostly involve music. i recorded some stuff for fun, too. i'm such a romantic sometimes.. *sigh*.
