Thinking of giving up. :-/

For all of you who don't know my predicament... in a nutshell: Met a shy cancer on a cruise, lives 3 hours away in Canada, went to visit him 2 weekends ago and it went REALLY well, problem-he's shy and doesn't really use Facebook or text.

The last time I heard from him after our weekend was last Friday, I posted a status on Facebook about possibly having a job in Toronto this summer and he "liked" it. It is sad that I constantly look at his facebook, lol.. but he came on there and did nothing but like my status. This was a week after we had communicated last so I figured this was the green light for me to text him. I said I was at a bar and this band came on and it reminded me of him and asked how his week was going. He said good, staying in that night, and was going to TORONTO the next day, how was mine? Was that him trying to mention Toronto since I might be living there? Who knows. I told him oh wow that's cool since I might have a job there. He said That's great! When do you start? I answered and said I was also excited but terrified since I don't know anyone and I've never been there.. and he didn't respond. This was last Friday. So, I don't know if this will work out. I REALLY like him, but I'm a Virgo and constantly over-think and analyze everything, and also an Aries ascendant so I'm stubborn, persistant, and like talking.. all of which he's not. I just don't see how you could like someone and not talk to them for a week. If he does like me and is interested he sure has a funny way of showing it...

I second that! Just keep on with normal life and if he makes a move, then great. Shy is good, but eventually he will let you know one way or the other what exactly he wants. Try to put it out of your mind.

thanks guys, that's what i'm gonna do. just not contact him. this is kind of pathetic but i remembered him saying he joined a dating site so i went to the first free one i could find, typed in his age and city, and found him. it says he's logged-in within the past week, so clearly he's still looking and has been online and not contacted me so i think he's not interested. funny because his description of the woman he's looking for sounds exactly like me. "Somewhere out there is a great woman who will not only want to introduce me to new things, but will also like to try some adventures that are new to both of us. The woman I would like to meet is confident and self assured, but isn't**** with an over-inflated ego. I am looking for a girl who can keep me on my toes both when it comes to intellect and energy. There is nothing that I won't do to support the people I care about, but if I think you are wrong I will tell you and I hope that you would do the same for me.

i think you should let it be and not over analyze things. if u really wanna kno if he likes u then ask him, if not dont stress urself out over i,, trust me ive beent here...not fun. but yeah let him know how u feel. hes probably just really introverted, so talk to him every other day and slowly let him trust you
