Are you all THAT slow?

Out of curiosity.

I used to work with a Libra woman, VERY much a Libra. I remember her telling us about how she met her now husband. She said they met at a bar and they exchanged numbers. It seemed like he was the one who was more interested in her. Well, she made it short by saying they ended up hitting it off, and in 3 months they had moved in. I thought that was great. I always find it intriguing when couples move so fast.

ANYWAYS, I later find out here husband is a Capricorn! I thought back to the story of how they met and moved in together in 3 months. I was shocked! I would NEVER think a Cap would move that fast..

so my question is: what makes a Cap want to move that fast? I know you are all known to be slow movers in the love department..and in general (from experience and the Cap board 😉 ) Is it age...the older the Cap is the more apt they are to move quickly? Is it other chart aspects such as Venus?

This story has always stuck out in my mind, and I even wonder if I will ever meet a Cap like this 🙂 *sigh*

In the caps I've observed, the venus plays a major part. There's a cap sun, pisces moon and sag venus who has been pursuing me since high school and he'd probably marry me tomorrow if I said yes. (for all the wrong reasons) I think his sag venus makes him impulsive. Cap sun/cap venus seem to be slow to commit but not quite as slow as aqua venus. Cap venus seem to take a while but not as long.. cap sun/aqua venus want to develop a friendship & foundation first and forehand.

I've been with my cap sun/aqua venus for 3 years and he's just now making comments about us having children or getting married, whereas before he never made mention of it. In fact, he used to say he didn't want those things, and now he does.

Funny you mention the sag venus. The Cap I once dated very briefly had sag venus which made him very much detached and all over the place. Like I don't think that guy will settle down completely until he's 40 or something lol. He had a lot of fire in his chart so that could have also made him really flighty. I read up on the Cap sun and Sag venus and it said these men like long distance relationships because they need their space, which made so much sense to me. It had him down to a T. Funny thing too is this would have been a long distance relationship....I'm talking a whole 'nother country.

all this talk about massages is making me want one too!!

It's a weird thing about Caps. Overall, they are slow as hell with their emotions, but there are times they just move crazy fast. My former Cap friend was like that with the only girlfriend he had a relationship longer than a month or two with. They were popping out "I love yous" in no time, which surprised me, coming from him. I think there's a little more behind it (as in he's with her for personal gain in areas outside of the relationship), but yeah. He moved awfully fast. Apparently he's back with her. I think she's a Leo, too. We all know how THAT combination works. Dun dun dun.

However, funnily enough, the first "relationship" he had was with this fwb he had for like a year or two or something. He didn't realize til after how much he fucked everything up that he had feelings for her. This was two years later. THAT is Cap slowness right there. :p

So with him in particular, I've seen both instances. I think it just depends on the person the Cap is interested in.

What do you mean about the Leo-Cap mix...how does THAT combination work? Why are there so many Leo - Cap couples? I always wondered that. I know of a Leo woman who married a Cap male and they moved really quickly in the relationship as well.

My sister has a friend that's a Leo and the fast 3 relationships she's been in has been with Caps. I also see and know of a lot of Leo and Capricorn couples. My dad was in love with and dated a Leo for years. Halle Berry(Leo) had a child with a Capricorn.

That combination is definitely popular, it seems.
