Birthday gifts for caps

It's almost cap month - well at least a month away and I'm thinkn of birthday presents....!

I want to make him his fav treats and cake. I haven't cooked for him much before and he has been dropping hints.

What else can I get for him?
I want to take him shopping would it be better to give him a gift card n then take him shopping over Xmas break when he gets back from visiting family?

CP just wants all the women here to bake and send care packages!

@SCG baking is a good idea! If he likes to cook something for the kitchen is always nice. In general though, small, thoughtful gifts, nothing extravagant, if it's useful even better - he'll be uncomfortable if you spend a lot of money.

I think you should get him something rather than a gift card but caps are hard to buy for. It has to be somewhat useful to him and of quality.

I've bought stuff for him in the past where I thought it was romantic or sweet or a good idea at the time but got these blank looks - obviously wasn't the right gift.
One time I wanted to take him shopping n it turned into a disaster nothing was good enough or he thought it was too expensive

I defo want him to think of me every-time he wears the gift - which is why I wanted him to pick out something he would wear in his style /size/colour etc.

They are just soo hard to buy for.

Hmmm something to help relax him - me wearing a hot outfit on the day

Something practical and useful, or antique and valuabe, or sentimental and personal. Something that makes my life easier, something I am interested in or something I can treasure and value makes me happy.

The best birthday present is not to receive one at all.

That way the Cap feels no need to reciprocate.
