Cap child/Aries mother...could use some insight.

Thought I would drop by here and ask for a little insight in to my little goat. Obviously our sun signs are complete opposite and we clash constantly. I could really use some advice on how capricorns think, feel and act in general.

My little girl, and again remember we are complete opposites so it's hard for me to understand, but she is extremely shy; around crowds, strangers, even my friends that she's met before. She clams up - she even tells me she's shy. I don't push her or tell her to snap out of it, I understand that's how she is, but I can see her shyness holding her back from a lot things down the road. She's 5 right now. She's very smart, very very smart, but also very physically talented. She could be a dancer, or great at sports but I see this fear come over her when I even mention dance lessons or joining a youth sports league of some sort.

Other traits: very picky with food, very routine oriented, she's got a great personality around her father and I and other close relatives, but I can't ever get her to relax and not be afraid to be herself around others. Any advice...is this just how goats are? Oh, and she has the biggest independent streak I have ever seen, sometimes described as STUBBORN - drives me crazy.

Thank you all for your advice and words of wisdom. It helps to hear others views. I know that I should take her to ballet lessons kicking and screaming, at least just a couple of times - I KNOW she would just love it if she would just give it a chance; at least that's been the advice from some of my family members.

I also believe God gave me this Capricorn child on purpose as well - kind of his little joke towards me - I love the little girl, but man, can she test my patience.

I've accepted the fact that not everyone can be just like me and do what I want - my lesson I'm learning - she calms my Aries traits and tests me - in a good way. I'm thankful I have her in my life.
