Cappy Communication

Ok, my bestie, a Virgo, is telling me that I should be talking to my Cap on a daily basis. I'll admit in the beginning chatting by txt was like pulling teeth. I'm an aqua, im not a big caller. I like to talk if the conversation is stimulating, but our convos by txt are kinda dead...its obviously not our best way of communicating. But when we're together, as I've stated before, our communication is great and we talk about everything laugh a lot and pick each others brains about what we want out of life. Plus I know he's really focused on some projects with school and I dont want to bug him to talk about nothing.
It should also be noted that we currently live in two different states. I'm moving to his state by the end of this month. Since I've told him this, his guard has come down a little and he is always asking when is the next time he's gonna see me. But in between my visits we only talk like once a week. I don't think this is odd, I think this is just how we are because of the current situation and once I am closer things will get better. He has already told me he wants to spend more time with me once I move. Do you think there's something wrong with this? We're not official, more like feeling each other out. We used to date 5 years ago and reunited for the first time on New Year's. Since then we've gotten closer

If it works for you two, then it works. Some people need constant contact, some don't. Don't listen to your friend - its yours and his relationship, not hers. Whatever yall are comfortable with is what matters.

For me, as a Cap, I can go a day or two without talking to someone. More than that, then I feel more insecure about their feelings (but, I'm a girl, what do ya expect? lol!) I prefer to at least have some contact at least once a day, even if its just good morning or good night - lets me know they are thinking about me.

Yeah you're probably right. She thinks I'm gonna make him think I'm seeing someone else. But...she's not really the relationship expert anyway lol.
Besides, I'm still a little old fashioned. I dont think that the woman is supposed to initiate contact all the time so I just let him be.

Most of us are not going to be the kind of guys who sit on the phone with a girl 2 hours a night discussing relationship issues, relationship studies, cosmo articles, rainbows, unicorns, and butterflies. It's not how we're wired, sorry girls. 🙂
