I know this seems like the most reasonable effort, but deep down I wonder if being so direct would cause him to become uncomfortable and pull back?

I seem to be having similar issue 🙂 I personally think if cap is not ready to discuss this or not sure he wants something serious he will pull back...
Am I right or wrong? M?

If either of you are looking for anything long-term, then you have to start towards building something by communicating. I know it may be easier said than done, but I think it's a bit of a contradiction to want something serious, yet worry about if they will pull away if asked a simple question. I believe that if something is nagging at you then you should be able to bring it to that persons attention. In the end, its all a part of being compatible, and if they pull away then that may not be the person for you. It's better now to ask then later. If anything, the biggest thing to be concerned about, when dealing with a Cap male, is how you present it. As long as you are calm then you should get the answer you are looking for, I think.
