Capricorn Men and Their Mannish Ways??.

Once upon a time I used to date a cap. He had my nose wide open! Lol. I received ALOT of advice and support from members such as Tiki, which was much needed. Lol. I have since moved on (in a relationship with a Pisces) and here we are years later. I am now acquainted with another somewhat mannish cap male.

He is actually a Masters student in my program. Him 29 and me 32. I met him about two years ago when I was helping interview perspective Masters students. Since, we speak when when see one another and have made very brief small talk in passing. To make a long story bareable, I have recently found out that cap has been eyeing me for a while and asking everyone and their mother about me. This is shocking to me because I would have never guessed he thought twice about me.

I suppose he got tired of asking around about me and decided to start openly flirting with me, which he started last week. Some of the things he has said to me reminded me of my Cap I used to date. So much so I asked him for his date of birth. Lol.

I had to get stern with the cap because I felt he started coming on too strong as of recently. But I had to laugh at myself. It has been de ja vu. He took me back to my old days when I was just a confused Scorp woman sprung over a Cap. LOL.

When I was dating the Cap I think power and control was a HUGE issue also. I think that is an inherent obstacle in a Scorp/Capricorn pair. However, if the Scorpio woman is patient and plays it cool, it can be a beautiful thing.

I just had to laugh at my recent situation. It was like history repeating itself. Only this time, I am not interested. LOL.

A bit disturbing actually, she's really not okay with it but she puts up with it because she loves the guy.

Ummm with the cap I dated; I just wasn't ready to dance the capricorn dance. Lol. I often grew impatient and weary to be honest. He also experienced a few financial set backs. We all know what happens to a capricorn man if his money gets funny. It's over. Lol. We just kinda fizzled out in true cappy fashion. We actually are still good fiends. We talk regularly.

There are several reasons I am not interested in this specific Cap. First and foremost, I have a boyfriend. Even if was not in a relationship, I would probably not be interested in a this cap because of our positions at my school. He is a masters student and I am a doctorate student in the same program. I often teach and provide clinical supervision for the masters students in our program. If he and I were to date, I don't know if it would sit well with me ethically seeing as there is a good chance I might be his teacher or supervisor.

I also get the feeling that he is still very much in a game playing phase of his life. Something that I am not interested in participating.

He is a bit over controlling. She needs to nip that crap in the bud as soon as it happens. He will respect her for it. However, if he doesn't and gets pissy, then she will be better off without him. He could have a tendency to become abusive.

I tried talking to sis. She said she can't live without him. She said she's too weak. It's like she's really mentally fucked now. There are kids involved so it's not easy. Just thinking about it stresses me out. *sigh*

They do have good days but he refuses counseling or anything to help them. He's just resentful and keeps bringing up the past to guilt trip her. Their passive aggressive dynamic is sickening to watch.

Everything's okay as long as he's in a good mood and as long as he gets what he wants. I don't know, sis can't see it. I've been wasting my saliva talking to her about it for like 7 years now I think.

Both Caps and Scorps are secretly(for Scrops) or privately(for Caps) out of control. Both put each other in their place one way or another. The challenge will never die as both seek clever ways to manipulate each other. Both bend or break their beliefs to achieve the win... Both will die trying to win and their lives will be full of excitement and fun...
Plus, people think both speak negative anyways. It's not a negative or a complaint, it's the TRUTH!!! We both know that one one wants to here something boring, so we give the crowd want they want to hear...
