Caps and Fashion

Hey Caps! Do you feel like you're good at putting outfits together? What type of clothing do you feel most confident in? Do you ever feel like other people are more stylish and better at selecting clothing than you are? Or do you care how you dress compared to other people?

I feel like I can throw a business or formal outfit together than I can a casual look.
Business suit, scarf, accessories, right shoes. Check.
Formal dress, shoes, accessories. Check.
Jeans, boots, top....not so sure.

Am I the only one or do other caps have this sense of second guessing their casual choices?

And what sign should I take shopping with me? Virgo? Libra?

Yeah, I think virgos look very well put together.

I have Capricorn in Descendant and I am a fellow earth sign. I love fashion and I have ton of outfits. I feel I am most confident in. A nice shirt and pants with some boots with my hair looking smooth and makeup looking fresh. I am always dressing up. I love taking the time to get ready. What kind of outfit did you wear on your first date with a guy?

Usually, I would wear a dress and get spiffied up.

With aqua, it was a last minute, spur of the moment meet up after work and I just threw on some jeans, cowboy boots and an every day top. Touched up hair and makeup but didn't spend a lot of time getting ready. I guess he was fine with it. lol!

T-shirt, shorts, flip flops = gold

My ex-Pisces used to pick out most of my clothes.

She is very trendy and on top of things in the fashion world.

I had to put the proverbial foot down when she started bring home the metrosexual stuff.

NO.

Damn I hate last minute planning. I can honestly say I will not get ready early these days by the experiences. I am also a very punctual person and I hate the waiting game. Its like we set something up and now I have to wait till you are ready which can take forever. And air signs for some reason love to test my patience.

One problem I have is the trendy or fashionable clothing is designed for young people and look silly on a woman in her 40's, like you're trying too hard to be young. The other option is too frumpy and designed for someone much older.

My sister has a Taurus moon. She never walks out of the house without makeup on. She makes us go to the store for her because she doesn't want to be seen if she's not at her best.
she can't understand why i dress so horribly, she's shocked i go to work the way i do.

it's got to be a venus thing. looking pretty even just going to the store. lol
my mother has a taurus rising and she's the same way, but in her own home she's comfortable with comfy clothes. my cousins who have libra mars are the same way too, they won't go out w/out make-up or their hair in place, looking like they are going on the run-way. It's probably an appearance thing, which isn't bad of course, just so they feel good about themselves.

it might be for you, the virgo energy, just very casual. As leo energy doesn't like to go out looking like crap for the most part. that's my guess.

I think I'm good at making myself look presentable and neat, but I don't feel I can really put an outfit together if that makes sense. For example, I love layered looks, but I don't feel I have the talent to really layer clothing properly. I'll most definitely look nice, but the most basic/simple way.
