Could venus in cap hold me back?

I just asked a question in the cancer area about a guy being too enthusiastic and intense but afterwards I started wondering if maybe it's just my venus wanting me to be a snail?

So I'll repeat what I've said in the cancer area in here and see what others may be able to tell me.

A guy I knew in primary recently found me on facebook. I could feel pretty much straight away that he was getting to asking me out. Last night he actually did ask me out on a date even though we haven't caught up in 'real life' yet. I was suspicious of him coming on so strong so soon and pretty much wanted to run away.

Could this have more to do with me than him? Is this common with people who have their venus in capricorn? I don't want to hide for no reason but at the same time I don't want to be too vulnerable..I'm pretty confused right now.

I have Venus in Cap and it tempers my Sag inpulsiveness. I too would be suspicious of someone I just met online rushing into things. Maybe talk to him on the phone first before you agree to a date. I find my Venus in cap also makes me act hot and cold and I definitely feel like running away at times too...I have Mars in Cancer so I have to be careful not to let my emotions control my relationships. Yikes! I think I am confused too..
