Getting rid of a Cappie?

Ok I will keep it short....as possible. The ex hubby is a cappie. He did everything a hubby shouldnt do and I took the kids and left him. Divorce complete - 2 years later he FINALLY apologizes about all he did. BUT now he's decided he wants me back. LOL UH,NO WAY I'm a one shot deal and have moved on with my life. He doesnt get it - wont let go....I've ignored him (as much as possible since we have kids I try to keep it decent) and turned him dow AND told him about my new man, encouraged him to start dating. Is there anyway to get rid of him? What do caps not like to hear—?? At this point I really am willing to try almost anything. Grrrrrr.

LOL darn....I knew he was stubborn (yes that's the pot calling the kettle black, since I'm a taurus) but I was hoping there was some something I'd missed that would help!!! 😛

@amethyst2002 Thanks!! And maybe I need to be that blunt. Heck at this point I'm definitely willing to let my inner cookiemonster out! And that yahoo sounds as deluded as my ex. I got a message last night that said he "knew I wanted to get back with him for the sake of our kids".......WHHHAAAHHHHHHH—? Dont know where he's getting his info but it is soooo wrong! LOL

@aquagirl24 I've tried ignoring him for 2 years, hanging up if the convo goes beyond info on the kids BUT he is dead set thinking that I want him back. Uh NO thanks!!! His pride wont let him understand that I dont want him. Weird....maybe yours was a bit brighter? Caught a clue faster?

@wadjb yes I agree we are very different!!!! Too bad he doesnt see it that way 😢

I've asked him to find someone else, date any girl he has as a friend, I recently asked one of his buds to set him up with someone (lol) so he'd leave me alone. And yes he did some really bad stuff to me as well (we were together 6 yrs) ....but that's all his baggage to carry . . .that's also why he didnt fight me when I left.

We will see how this goes - about to bring out the big cookiemonster guns 🙂 Wish me luck!!!

But I do think you all are right. I'm tired of having to deal with his issues....and we arent a couple or anything close to one so it's time - especially since I am dating someone new. I just have to be consistent with him (like the kids) so he finally gets it....but I am lighting a candle nonetheless.... I'm all for a miracle here lol 🙂

Nope I come from short people, I'm the tallest and no brothers....lol. BUT I do have plenty of male friends that are dying for their chance at him.....even after two years. if it comes to that well **shrug** a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! 🙂
