LIfe Lessons?

What are some life lessons you have learned and are willing to share?

I'll go first: Don't use credit unless you have to, but protect your credit rating.

A job is not a guarentee, its a privilege (learned that after getting downsized and starting a new job).

Experience and knowledge are highly important. Thats how we keep evolving.

People are more important than anything else. They'll be there when material objects, etc are gone. Support and nurture your friendships and family.

"This too shall pass...." always.

If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Life's not about finding yourself, or being yourself, it is about creating yourself.

" break ups happen, but know this, "there will always be someone else, always""~ my dad (told me that when i was 8 years old and my lil bf cheated on me. LOL..stuck with me ever sense)

protect/manage your credit, use it wisely

That despite personal tragedies and pain you cannot let it consume who you are. Define you. You can choose to be a victim, or a survivor.

If you watch and wait, someones true colors will emerge.

Do not surround yourself with narrow minded individuals, it rubs off.

Be good, be wise, be true. In this world of hypocrisy, unease and doubt it's sad that these 3 qualities are a refreshing surprise in others.

Before you pray, forgive.

Do not internalize someone elses rejection of you, it is a breeding ground for insecurity and pain. Be exactly who you are and proud of it. Your phenomenal is always intact, NEVER let someone take it from you.
