My Cap has finally done it, Hes driving me treetrunking INSANE! I Dont know wtf is goin on. One day hes all sweet, and gentlemen like and playful.. Than some days hes just quiet and keeps to himself in our bedroom, i always ask whats wrong and he always says Nothing, i just dont know what to talk about i am just relaxing. He can do that for like 8 hours straight and it drives me nuts. He wont come out unless he has to use the bathroom, i have to bring his food to him so he will eat. Is this normal? He isnt the "Talk about everything type".. What should i do? 😢

Sounds like maybe he could be a little depressed... probably has a lot on his mind. Given that he says nothing is wrong, it's nothing to do with you he's just going through some things and trying to sort through it without distraction.

Maybe some of the guys will have a different take. But, I get real withdrawn at times, and it's not because there is something wrong, I just want to be with myself (in my head).

Sorry to hear you're going through that.

Best you can do is try your hardest to not let his mood affect you. Be yourself and float around the house as usual, maybe occasionally trying to cheer him up by being silly or suggesting going for a walk or doing something, but don't go "there" with him, or analyze what can be wrong. It will take up wayyy too much of your energy, precious energy you'll need for other things lol. It can be a Cappie thing to get in these type of "moods" so it's usually nothing personal.

He probably could use a hobby or something though. 8hrs is a long time that can be used doing something productive, while thinking, instead of sitting and doing nothing, thinking lol. Doing something can help take your mind off of things.

Suggest going outdoors, listening to music, having fun. Does he have any hobbies?.

Too much time thinking will only drive his anxiety up. Cappy's carry lots of stresses and worries, he needs some time to digest and work out solutions. But too much time sulking will only lead him into further dispair.

Sometimes a nice helping of 'sex'ercise will bust the blues 😉

Yea, he has told me that before when he goes through that spell "I Have alot on my mind" but he dont wanna talk about it, and i hate that. I guess i can try cheering him up or suggest doing something. I hate when he goes through a spell. Its not ALL the time, but it does happen, and its frusterating. I love him with all my heart though and i havent gone off on him for it. I just stay in the other room and clean like a speed freak, lol when i get upset i clean, ALOT ..toothbrush style !!!!

All capricorns are introverts at heart and they sort through their problems by thinking about them, not by talking about them. Trying to help by distracting him or trying to get him to do A/B/C will just make it take longer for him to find his way through whatever "it" is out. I would encourage you to not go off on him for this behavior; I promise that will not help your cause. This is perfectly natural behavior for him. Just let him be and he'll snap out of it on his own. We always do 🙂

Sometimes I will talk a LOT.
Sometimes I don't feel like talking at all or being social.
Sometimes I have a lot to think about.
Sometimes I get depressed.
Sometimes I just like to be alone.
Sometimes I want to be social.
Sometimes I need to mull things around in my mind, weigh all options and come to a solution or make a plan.

It rarely has to do with another person or my feelings about them. I guess its the Cap moods. Just give him space and let him be. He'll come out of it. Don't take it personally.
