Most common cappy traits

I have a cap rising and just wondering what in your opinion are the strongest capricorn traits and how you make them work for you....my sun is gemini, so there are many things I do or say or feel that are completely opposite, so I'm just trying to get some perspective from the experts 🙂

Yep- cap moon- what do ya know!

Well I only have a cap rising and some planets in Cap, but what I tend to see as my cap fascade (the thing people who don't know me see) is that somehow I'm more serious. Don't get me wrong as I love the fact that people see me as hardworking instead of daydreaming and I do get the work done FAST. But strangers seriously never see the humorous nature that I have but when someone knows me then they know how goofy I am.

Internally I give credit to the cap rising because I know when playtime needs to end so I can be serious. But I can beat myself up better than anyone could ever say anything about me and I go through the stress induced 'I must work myself to the bone or lose respect.' But luckily the Aqua sun turns that off for me.

Well socially I'm not serious most of the time. But at work and at school, people just take me seriously. I remember way back in the 6th grade I was talking to a friend of mine in class and the teacher looked right behind us to the guy not involved and told him "J stop talking" J responded, "It wasn't me, it was Vie." The teacher then said (and I never can forget this) "Vie would never do that." He wouldn't believe that I would ever goof off in class and the teacher really turned red in anger and had words with J for trying to lie. I was so scared that I kept my mouth shut at the time, but I thanked J later for taking the heat. The teacher was really angry. At this point in my life, I would say soemthing but it was a lesson that I never forgot... people think that I work hard and would never goof around. At work even now people think I'm working crazy at this very moment... they don't know that I'm passing the notes to you and daydreaming.

But if you are my friend then you know the absolute truth is the opposite and the illusion is completely destroyed that I am ever serious (when I can be).

In high school I was on every committee imaginable, class officer, and I even worked in City Hall on the mayor's council after getting the party nomination (scary huh!) I went on the quest because I wanted to say something and say it loudly and my capricorn rising had people taking me, a high schooler, seriously. I still like the ideas of equality mixed with my calcuating nature screaming for respect.

Now I must go supervise men moving furniture... fun times!

No... it happened most of my life with people outside the family and friends... maybe when I get older the reverse aging thing kicks in

I'm feeling that way now- getting older and feeling the cap more often- I find that I get a certain feeling where I HAVE TO organize EVERYTHING and "get things done". I get really focused and serious and when others around me are not motivated, it kinda gets to me- I also get to be a bit stubborn....but then I'm also gemini, so there are times when there is a situation where my gem side feels one way about it, but the cap feels opposite- very confusing sometimes....

Thus the reason for my post- trying to understand the cap nature and how to balance it with my chart that also has gemini and lots of cancer as well...

Those situations that you speak of, are these usually high pressure situations?

It gets confusing because my gem and cancer will get emotional and my cap side just wants to get it done and look at it rationally- get really focused- it's a little scary sometimes....I feel like I can't stop myself...
