Protecting Your Heart

Is protecting your heart necessary or does it create complications with a potential mate?

Maybe this is a capricorn thing, I'm not sure, but I have a fierce need to keep my heart protected from those I feel would hurt it. If I get bad vibes from a guy I tend to back away, unless I'm in a risky mood, but usually my risky moods are not serious -- I know that if things don't work out, its no big deal because I don't expect them to ... I wonder if that makes sense?

In the beginning, I'm usually really light-hearted when in a relationship, I'm not sure I go in looking for anything serious -- it's like, I want to have fun.

However, when things are serious -- a few things change. For instance, I would never have sex with a guy unless the relationship was serious -- that's just what I prefer, I see no need to open my legs unless things some foundation behind it. Other then that, I'm my same easy-going self just a couple of changes. Maybe I shouldn't be this way, maybe I should be more serious and upfront.

But, I'm afraid that if I'm more serious then that makes me more open -- omg thats scary Therefore if I'm open then my heart can get stepped on easiler, right?

I'm always upfront but I tend to keep a few pieces of myself tucked away out of fear -- like I said I'm not sure if this is a capricorn thing or what but I need to be both honest and secretive ... if there is such a thing.

Distant? Really? You don't seem too distant, slightly but not too much 🙂

I fall in love very easily.

Seem here girl 😢 The whole 'love at first sight' gets me everytime. Its terrible really because my emotions start going in circles and its hard to stop them.

BTB, have you ever attended a renaissance fair?

The Ren Festival? Oh yeah, I went once but costs alot of money. I suppose to go last year but I had to study for my mid-terms I think, plus I didn't like the person my friend was going with so I passed.

Oh, you've never went!!! Oh you have to go at least once 😄 But they are expensive as all heck! I think I went dressed as a pleasant-girl 🙂 With my own stuff, I didn't buy anything, it was my own stuff I used.
