Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

Your September Horoscope by Susan Miller

This morning, pretty, young Analyse, a Capricorn who attends the early morning boot-camp class I take at the gym, walked out with me. Analyse was her usual optimistic self, but today I noticed a little frustration, too: "Susan, tell me something good is going to happen in September for Capricorns! August was a mess of delays and postponements. Please tell me something good is coming!" Analyse and all my dear Capricorn readers, the news I have for you is far better than just "good" - it's downright sensational.

September could well go down as your favorite month of 2004. I will list a few activities you may take part in this month, but if you have no plans, you may want to spontaneously come up with some others in order to take full advantage of what's on tap.

Jupiter will change signs later this month, which is major news. As the only heavy-duty planet due to change signs this year - Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn are all staying put in the signs they traveled to last year - Jupiter's impending movement into a new house of the horoscope will open up several new areas of gain, particularly in regard to career, money and power. Wow! We will talk about this later in this report, but before that happens, there is even more good news. Where do I begin?

Let's start with the blowout party the universe is throwing, which will benefit you in a big way. Before Jupiter enters Libra, the universe will hold a going-away party for him as he leaves Virgo. The party will be held on September 14, in your ninth house of travel, higher education, legal matters and spiritual thinking.

The guest list reads like a who's who of the solar system. Besides Jupiter, the good fortune planet, also in attendance will be the Sun, ruler of our solar system, to lend dignity and stature to the event.

Add Mercury to the list. He's the reporter planet, whose job it will be to spread the word about you and this fiesta throughout the universe. He will do a good job - as of September 2, Mercury will no longer be retrograde, but operating at full power. As an aside, last month's frustrating delays, mix-ups, forgetfulness, indecisiveness, errors, changes of mind, mechanical breakdowns and overall mishaps are all finally over! The problems you and my friend Analyse experienced last month were largely due to Mercury retrograde and a difficult Saturn.

Mars will come to the party, too, which is good news, since he hasn't been in your ninth house in two years. In so doing, Mars will lend oomph to all your endeavors. He will also help you kick off a new two-year cycle that relates to the areas of life ruled by the ninth house, which bodes well for publishing projects, college degrees and international commerce.

Finally, the gracious new moon will act as mistress of ceremonies. She is the one who decides on the date of the party, and it will be her job to effectively blend the talents of each of the planets, so that you can access their benefits more easily. (This is her job each month, and she does it exceptionally well.) The new moon has chosen her date to kick off this amazing party: September 14.

Keep in mind that these planets have traveled a long way to get to this house, so they won't just come for a day. A new moon sets up two weeks of energy, so the whole second half of the month, from September 14-27, will be special, with your very best days falling in the first week, September 14-21.

Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, the Sun and the new moon will all be in Virgo, a fellow earth sign that will powerfully support your every move. You are about to be flavor of the month, meaning that your ideas, plans and dreams will get a big boost. You will no longer feel as if you are pushing a rock uphill, as you probably have felt lately. Agreements will come more easily now.

Saturn, your rulin

dear F & I,
do you know if you IM someone, while they're signed on, but they do not respond, and you (me) exit off the (my) message, do they still get the message on their computer, or does it go away when the sender (I) exited out?
i IM'd my ex scorp last night. kind of wore my heart on my sleeve. ugh. don't know if it was the right thing or not. no response, but see he is still signed on this morning at 5am. i complained to him the other day, that he's never around (i mean, he is my ex, and really doesn't have to be), but i missed him so much, i just basically cookiemonstered about it. i was just wondering if the message stays on his screen and if he will get it when he gets to his computer.
