i think it all depends on the compatiblity of your charts.
don't know anything about venus in gem. my libra ex has mars in leo but he has venus in virgo acutally i realized he is infact a libra/virgo cusp haha too many virgos in my life thougtht i managed to escape them lol. anywayz mars in leo would have lots of energy action takers high achievers. i greatly admire what he is capable of. his drive and ability to achieve/accomplish are extraodinary. i have not met another who i was close to who i admire more. however mars in leo can be very jealous at the worst time possible when it does not make sense. i was embarrased in public for no reason he showed hostility towards almost all males i know and you know how capricorns hate public embarrassments. i never flirt in person but it's exhausting for me to need to give him undivided attention all the time when we are out. he was and still is very protective of me tho like a family. very loyal. one other thing i couldn't deal with it well was i recall sometimes in the middle of a nice conversation he would suddently feel threaten by something i said and became argumentative and unpleasant to ruin the whole conversation. i was upset about that sometimes but the interesting thing was he told me i was the most easy going sweet girl coz he had never been on vacations with any girl without having fights. err. i don't fight when on vacations lol. i feel guilty already talking not so good things about him. just tho you want to know how mars in leo can be like. he is like my best friend now a very cool most capable guy. i may hide the post after a while.

I have a mars in leo . It makes you very passionate and gives you a strong sense of pride and diginity a lot of presidents and CEO,s have this placement . We also tend to feel hurt quickly and if our pride is hurt , then you will not leave until yours is almost obliderated . Strangely sensitive , more than you think .

awwww, thanks sagigoat...well, I don't have issues with jealousy, I appreciate it. But right now, he's in his "I'm goign to criticize you till there's no tomorrow" and you know how us cappies are when it comes to taking a shit load of criticism. It's fine if he does it once in a while, but geez, put those damn brakes after a while!click to expand

yeah i agree very much that the criticizing thing has nothing to do with leo mars. my ex didn't do much cirticizing of me at all even tho he is a perfectionist (libra+virgo). leo is loyal won't cirticize their loved ones much as long as all attentions are on them lol. i criticized him more lol :/.

i dunno whether it's a capricorn thing or not but it's not easy to live quietly with things we deem "wrong". we have a very strong belives of how things shoul be. we may cease to criticize once we understand you are trying to work with us instead of agains us or once we give up on your ability to change or when we finally accept you.
When I call her on it, she has admitted several times that its probably just her wanting me to be "perfect" (with a bit of a "guilty" facial expression), cause she's fully aware of how demanding she is. But I know it is more of a reflection of the high standards she has for herself and how big her fear of underperforming is. For instance it has happened several times that she's studying hard for an exam at my place, and many times I assist her (because I happen to dominate her field of study), so I can see how hard she has been studying..yet she is ALWAYS, no matter how hard she studies, ALWAYS fearful that she'll screw up her exam, and she never believes me when I tell her "youre gonna do alright, you'll see, no need to worry", but it always happens that she gets a MUCH better result than her expectations. She's too hard on herself, but most of all shes more worried about getting a lower mark than her close classmates (than passing the exam or not) :S, Ive tried to show her that its more important to be satisfied about a job well-done (for yourself) than comparing yourself to others the whole time.click to expand

And the whole criticize you until its no trouble thing, well, I think that may have something to do with his venus in gemini.
Remember, gemini venus along with gemini moons feels as if they are owed information about you. haha, its so odd really. And well they get they information about you, they try their best to pick it apart. Here's the kicker, when you refuse to tell them anything, they criticize you even more ... until you start talking that is :/
So that aspect has nothing to do with the leo mars but everything to do with the gemini venus.
Now the jealous and possesive stuff, yeah thats totally leo mars lol
