What happened to..?

Does anyone know what happened to
New Capricorn Guy? Haven't seen
his name on the boards recently.

I've been around, but I haven't posted anything. I've been laying low trying to figure things out.

Out of curiousity, has anyone ever had a tarot reading done, and/or a palm reading? I'm curious because I've just had it done recently at a Ren-fest I went to. It's become an annual thing and its pretty neat.

What's a Ren-fest?

I had a "psychic" reading done by a drunk woman who actually drank DURING THE READING in california a couple years ago, and it was the stupidest thing ever. She basically asked me a bunch of questions and then gave me career options based on what I said. Example:

PSYCHIC: So, tell me about your interests. Do you like reading?

ME: Yes.

PSYCHIC: Do you like writing? Are you a reading and writing type of person? Because I'm sensing that you have a talent for speaking and using words, things like that.

ME: Yes.

PSYCHIC: I'm going to give you the titles of several books I think you should read. (proceeds to fill up the back of her business card with titles of weird books)

Then she did a numerology reading on me, which I found only slightly more credible.

PSYCHIC: You are a Number Nine, which means you hold within your soul all the lessons and karma of the other numbers. You are sensitive and responsible. You are the most complicated number of all and you bear the most burdens.

ME: Thanks so much, it's been enlightening. (I lied.)

And I spent six bucks for that! It was a *very* disappointing experience. A lot of it consisted of watching her knock back margaritas (I'm not even kidding) and listening to her stumble over her words as she recited a bunch of generic, pseudo-psychic crap to me.

Now, as far as tarot readings, I've had my aunt do them for me and my mom, and my ex boyfriend, and they were FREAKISHLY accurate. I also do them on myself quite often. I'd love to have a real professional do one for me.

Renaissance Festival. Its a fair of sorts that lasts about a month and a half were people dress up in clothes from that period. Walk, talk and eat turkey legs. Watch jousting, throw axes, drink ale, and etc etc.

Having a tarot reading done has become an annual thing, and it's been pretty accurate. I went to a different person this year, and they read a bit differently. She asked me what I wanted to know, and I said relationships. And she just kept going after that not really asking me anything but telling me. And it was very very interesting.

Then she asked me about my mother if she was alright, well I said she had her thyroid(sp) taken out. She said there would be no more surgery's but that she'd have leg problems. Haven't really noticed any leg problems but I haven't asked my mother about it. Then she asked if my dad was dead. Now that was scary because my father is basically giving up on living, I hear about it a lot when I'm over there about how he wants to die to end the pain ... She said the cards around him aren't strong.

The palm reading was very interesting, she was able to depict points in my live where I've had stress, that I will one day go into business for myself( which I want to most definatly ), and many things that just left me in awe of the whole thing. You all should have the palm reading done it is very intriguing.

We have gypsy's who work the streets they try to sell you a flower for a quid or read your palm for a fiver its good for a ha ha.

Done the tarot card thing and have had decent
readings but nothing earth shattering.Never had my
palm read .Might give it a try. Plenty around here
but asking for 10 dollars.

I do my own Tarot readings and they can be quite accurate. I once asked whether a deceased is in heaven and last card showed his numerology card (to find your numerology card, add up your birthdate). I asked again 3 times in a row, and the same card always turned up last which confirms the answer. I have been to a psychic and he was okay. He asked a lot of questions and gave me a 6 month forecast, some of it had come true but not all. It depends on how good the psychic is. I heard of this guy through word of mouth, which means he is good. He told me I am going to be a great Psychic! A leader! Ha! I don't think so!
