sometimes I just apply mascara, other times use fake eyelashes..or at times, I go to a shop and get a fake eyelash extension.. wish I had longer eyelashes, but ah well..lol so I get some help from those fakey lol lol products..

also it's just fun to try some really crazy fake lashes..like those one can see on fashion runways πŸ™‚

I do fake lashes for special occasions or a sexy night out with the ladies, especially if my eyeshadow is darker or a smoky look. But I don't like the super thick ones that make you look like a pornstar.

I don't wear them on dates, though. I go for a more "natural" look with neutral colors Sometimes falsies can seem harsh and have a "trying too hard" look to them with lighter makeup. I have decent natural lashes so a few swipes of mascara does the trick.

MAC has really nice ones.

I didn't even know MAC made them.

@xxiixxii

I've tried but I find them impossible to get on-- it's too frustrating.

Usually good mascara is more than sufficient, but I would love to try them at least once.

Maybe I should invest in better ones. :/

I have never tried those which from MAC.. I usually use japanese companies' products as they fit better for asians πŸ™‚

for now I have an extension..I got it before the trip and the shop I chose was the best choice so far..been to water, spent all day underwater and hotel pools .. still glued perfectly .. just went back to the same shop yesterday to get a fix πŸ™‚

I put lots of efforts when I go out for a date lol not that to impress the guy but I want to look good and it makes me feel more confident (not that I don't feel confident other normal every days πŸ™‚)
and it's sometimes fun to see guys go weak in their knees 😈 hehe.. see their jaws drop hit the floor lol funny.. πŸ™‚
though I don't apply eye liners if I have them fake lashes..that'd be too much ..and probably for wild nights or parties lol ..in fact, I don't do eye liners

being asian I don't really have long lashes 😭 damn those dominant asian genes :p (me and my european friends always make jokes about these genes lol) ..you have decent natural lashes..good for you! now I'm a bit jealous of them here.. :p

it sure takes some practice to glue them well I think! πŸ™‚
I don't like thick heavy ones as they make my eyes droopey lol
using fake lashes made of real human lashes or mink or silk is a good choice..
cheaper stuff usually looks to fakey because they tend to have unnatural sheen πŸ™‚
for the last few years transparent eyelashes have been popular - they're quite good .. look more natural than the old ones with the black ends πŸ™‚

or sometimes I buy ready made stuff then cut them into pieces then customize them to my tastes πŸ™‚
it's for beauty and fun itself, too πŸ™‚
