I have been using rose water as my toner for the past year or so and I'm very happy with the way my skin is looking. Rose water is known to have anti-aging properties. Since I've started using it, my wrinkles have become much smoother and my brown spots have slowly begun to fade away. I can also notice that my skin tone looks brighter now. I used to have black heads on my nose resulting from clogged pores but they're barely noticible now thanks to the dirt-removing power of rose water. And the scent is absolutely heavenly. Your face will smell like roses all day long.

It's quite easy to make. Please try it, ladies!

3/4 cup rose water
1/4 cup vegetable glycerine

Combine the 2 in a bottle. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds to blend. Shake well before each use.

You can purchase rose water quite cheaply at any East Indian or Middle Eastern food stores in your neighborhood. You can find the glycerine in most health food stores.

Actually rosewater has very minimal anti aging action going on. Its main properties are to moisturize/soothe the skin and nothing more. Your other products will work better on top of well moisturized skin, hence the dark spots lighting up. Plus your wrinkles were most likely dry lines, against easily fixed by hydrating the skin better.

Previous moisturizers you used didn't cut it, caused the skin to dehydrate and thus giving you blackheads. Because you're now properly hydrating your skin with glycerin + a water agent with it, the issue is fixing itself.

Still it's a nice product to use if you're into cheap toners that hydrate and smell like roses 🙂
