Aqua dating Gemini first time

It's my first time with a Gemini guy and wow we share so many interests! He's just like me: spontaneous, likes to be out and about, likes to try new things, can hold intellectually stimulating conversations, and is unpredictable. I get bored easily and to find a guy that can keep up with me and be on my level feels great.

My gemini man is definitely really fast at replying to my texts and can text a lot. We can text the whole day if we wanted to. But sometime I would say something to him and he would not respond to it. I guess he kind of skips it and ignores it then continues on talking about something else. But that usually happens when he's busy and hasn't responded in a while. At first I was a bit confused and wondered if it was because he didn't know what to say or that he was too busy and forgot or that there was no point in answering back to that question/statement since so many hours has passed and starting a new convo was the right way. I learned to just send a text, forget, and don't expect a response back, which actually really helps me a lot by not freaking out like many women do when a guy doesn't text them back. Now I also don't care as much because texting is just texting. So I'm wondering if this texting behavior is a gemini thing or is it just a guy thing? And do all gemini guys texts back this fast? How often would a Gemini men want to see his lady if he was interested in her? Do they like assertive women? Thanks for reading 🙂

I'm dating a Gemini and my most recent ex is an Aqua. They had quite different style s when it comes to texting.

Aqua was initiating all the time, at least three times a day and was very engaging. Each time we had a tennis mach-like texting going back and forth over two hours! When did we work, you may ask? Well, we didn't. After 6 months of this, I've been criticized by my boss for my pour performance. Aqua got fired from his job and had to move 3 hours away to get a new one! Relationship ended.

With the Gemini, the average is one text per day, which is something I suggested. He usually texts me late at night and I read it before going to bed. I don't text back immediately since it's too late, but the following morning. It takes hours for him to reply. Once it took him longer than 24 hrs and I had to phone him to see if he was OK.

He doesn't usually ignore my text. If he did, I would think it's because: 1) He's got exciting news; 2) He avoids the subject, or 3) He has deleted my texts and can't remember their content.

I don't know if he likes assertive women, but it would be interesting to know. He was married to a Leo (and so were other two Gemini I know, one of which married two Leos!). I'm sure these women were not weak pussycats.

After his divorce, my Gem dated an Aqua/Pisces cusp for 2.5 years, but their relationship ended due to intense and often arguing. Apparently, she wanted to spend all her spare time with him. They were both into fitness and she went running and cycling with him. One of the argument was about him joining her gym, which was really inconvenient for him, but she won't listen.

My intuition tells me that my Gem likes a woman who can hold her ground and is not shy of an argument or two, as long she does not get too clingy and controlling.

I think Geminis who were born the first half of the month are different than the ones born the second half, which would affect how a relationship would turn out depending on which sign the Gemini man is with. My guy is a Taurus/Gemini cusp and I'm a Capricorn/Aquarius cusp. We are both full moon natives. I agree with Gemini men like women that can hold their ground and not be clingy. Being clingy is a big turn off for air signs haha. I wonder why I think about him so much. Like I want to see him a couple times a week but at the same time I don't think it's necessary to see each other that often. Is it because of my Leo moon that craves the attention?

So you and your Gemini only text once a day? Do you think he will get bored of it since they're such big communicators?

Your cusps are highly compatible from an astrological point of view. Also, my dad is Cap/Aqua cusp and my mum is a third decan Taurus with Gem influences (Gem dominant, according to Pullen). I'm a February Pisces with Aqua Mercury and Venus and my Gem is close to the Cancer cusp, with Cancer Mercury.

We do communicate well when together, and I think this is what matters. I don't intend to spend my life texting with my SO, so his texting habits are rather irrelevant, as long as he doesn't start annoying me with "Where R U?" and "when home?" on a daily basis 🙂.

I don't know if he gets bored (he's looking after his 12/13 yrs old boys 50% of the time), but if he misses me, he could always phone or write me a longer email. That is what we used to do for the first two months, when getting to know each other.

I'm quite confident that the lack of communication between dates is not a disadvantage, since I married a very talkative man (Libra) after a 2-year long distance courtship. During that time, we've only visited each other twice a year for a couple of weeks and talked on the phone once a month!

You've got a Leo moon!! LOL, I'm not a fan (Pisces Moon growing up in a Leo Moon's den: mum, dad and sister all had one), but your moon will work a treat for your Gem. Have you seen GG's thread on "Astrology" where he claimed that "Gems are the zoo keepers of the zodiac", just because he "tamed a Leo" at breakfast (whatever that means......probably coffee in bed) 😄?

They like texting but sometimes if they are really busy they can't text u or replay but after that he will back to you, will ask you where have u been and everything. I often talked with them everyday and guess what.. my best friend also gemini and I can say that I communicate with gemini guys everyday.. My friend also gemini, she will not text me when she is busy or work but after she is get home she will text me and talk to me on the phone.

There is nothing unusual about that texting behaviour. All the possible reasons you gave are very likely.

(Also, and this could just be me, i like to leave the conversation when its still interesting. i like there to be little sparks of interesting dialogue and then we both get on with our day. Its nice to have that connection with our too much contact.)

I agree that they don't text when they're busy! My Gemini barely texts me when he's with his friends or if he's really busy at work. I used to be like that too but I'm so used to checking my phone that it's become a habit. I would just naturally pick up my phone even if there was nothing to do haha.

Ooh okay. So leaving in the middle of the conversation even if it's interesting keeps the spark going? If the conversation kept going it would be too much?
