Aries Girl with Gemini Boy - Can it Work?

Hi. I'm an Aries girl. I told a Gemini boy that I liked him and he went completely berserk telling me why I shouldn't like him.

I'm completely sensitive to criticism (maybe because I'm an only child and he's firstborn) and I can't stand his rude behavior. When I first met him, he was so compassionate and a gentleman. I'm not one for being a socialite for I have always entertained myself if alone.

Now he ignores me or never confronts me because I really don't talk much. HE LOVES TO TALK!!! I never have any real interesting conversations so he just avoids me.

My friends tell me to ignore him but it makes me so sad. I feel all of this is my fault. I guess Aries and Geminis do not get along...

Just under Personality Section, there is a compatibility section and I quote:
"Gemini & Aries: This is a wonderful pairing because both enjoy new things and communicating"


Maybe you should not give up altogether, because this pairing should work well, under normal circumstances.
From my own observations, I see it is the Aries female who would show the Gemini the door, deciding that the gemini is better as someone to 'flirt' with, and not take them too seriously.

This is the original poster again. So since I screwed up the relationship (actually he made me so mad), I would avoid him. OK cool. He ignores me anyways since this girl he really likes is ALSO a Gemini, so I guess his relationship with her will be remarkable.

So I guess it's time for me to meet another potential mate! lol

Are you saying that a Gemini-Gemini relationship cannot work? The girl and boy seem like they are soulmates for one another (actually she has a boyfriend - he just follows her alone and chaffeurs her around since she cannot drive). He always avoids me.

There is no magical thing between us. I see it but he doesn't. I want to give up.

Gemini/Gemini can work. All that compatiblity review says is that it is also possible that together they will be too overwhelmed to make it for the long run.


I cannot tell you what to do. Only you know where you stand with him. But if you give up now and you don't feel like you have given yourself and himself the benefit of the doubt, than you may have regrets. Especially if he breaks up with the Gemini like the next day!

I told my friends that I still like him, and they were like "Oh! I thought you got over him?" My friends are telling me that I should get over him. I'm about to do the same. If he is that shallow (OK i havent really given myself to him...like I don't like talking to people face-to-face and I'm not really sociable or know things ) to not see anything in me, I don't want to waste my tim with him.

Yeah if he is that superficial, I would do the same in your shoes. But it's not your friends' call! It's yours. You call the shots. I think he sounds like he's too shallow though.

Well today he and I were able to talk like "real" friends today until this afternoon when his "Gemini soulmate" appeared and urged him to drive her home. I felt sad for that and he completey ignored me.

I would feel the same way! You deserve better than that. There are tons of guys waiting out there who would be more than happy to devote themselves to you. You don't have to wait around for this one if you don't want to!

Well there is this post-Valentine's Day dance on Feb. 23, and I want to ask him out because he is the only boy I know. He will say "NO" to me anyways but he doesn't like me. If he says NO to me, I would not go to the dance even though I want to have myself a fun time away from my parents.
