Connections... Does a connection = a soulmate

If you feel a connection with another person of the opposite sex should pursue it, even though you and the other person seem like an unlikely couple— And yes, the pros do out weigh the cons.

I have known alot of 'unlikely' couples and they have turned out great! I would ask you, how does that person make you feel being part of your life?! If there is a bond between the two of you, then go for it! You may be very good for each other!!! Sounds like you already know that, don't you!

Soulmates? Do you think alike? Can you feel what they are feeling without being with them? Are there moments when feel they are next to you? Are your thoughts always about them and how they are doing? I would say if all of this is true then you are a lucky person! It could very well be a soul connection!

Wow, really interesting topic. I gotta throw my 2 cents in as well.

I knew a guy though a middle friend five months ago. The first time we met, honestly, I was like "I am doing you a favor by sitting here and listening to you." and ?Thanks God, it is over.? However, a strange bond was quietly built since then. I felt I already know him and he spent a few years with me sometime in the past. Three weeks later he called me up and asked me to attend his friends' gathering. I came without hesitation at all.

In the past five month, he called me just three times. I, ironically , became after him by phoning him (not very often though) and going to his friends' gatherings regularly. (sigh) Damn ?. I am supposed to be a distant and cold Virgo and I am one. However, I break my rules for this guy. Sometimes I jump and grin, asking myself why not be so cool as usual. I can't understand why and what I am doing now. This bond almost drives me crazy.

Anyone has the similiar experience? or you have some resonable explainations? I admire your scorpios' instinct and thoughts.

You should be a Shrink. Yes, I do feel connected to this someone but I'm not sure on what level. I'm not sure if it's physical, emotional,or spiritual. We're attracted to one another but it's deeper than that. I mean we've always had a special friendship but neither one of us thought we'd start getting weird feelings for the other, feelings that neither one of us can explain nor knows where they are coming from. We just saw ourselves as being total opposites. Maybe not, huh— I don't know I'm confused. I guess good ole time will tell what's really going on.

IMO, soul connections seem to be highly emotional(phychological feelings)/spiritual(personality) nature and can be felt the most in this way! There can be physical attractions but when thinking SOUL, the connection would be seperate from the body! Just like when we die we no longer in habit our flesh bodies but our soul is suppose to survive. Do you follow me? Our minds hold our emotions and there is quite a difference between the two. Although there could be all of the senses involved for one huge connection!!!! That would be a powerful force. Couldn't mess with that!LOL

Wow! you're deep. And this soulmate/connection stuff is even deeper, because I'm still lost as to why I feel the way I do for this person, and so are they. It's like we always tried keeping the friendship superficial; so that we wouldn't get emotionally attached, but I guess at some level we are...we're just not willing to admit it. Maybe we're so taking by this whole thing because we're air signs and what thought that we could out smart love by suppressing it, but that only intensified our feelings more. Now I'm starting to see that love is not something you can navigate,escape, or intellectualize. But we're still not ready to deal with all this...for Pete's Sake, were Air signs here! I don't know how this could happen to us—

It's so true about the need to define and over intellectualize a situation so that you can pigeon hole it into a category you understand/are able to control!

It's a way of distancing yourself from your fears about the situation.

You're right, there's alot of things out here that can't be explained,i.e. how we got here, yes, they're many theory but none of them have actually been proven.However, in my case shouldn't I know why I'm doing and feeling the way I am— I mean, I totally have no control over my current situation (to an extent). I don't like walking around blindfolded. I want to set parameter but on what, if I don't know what's going on? I know, I know I think too much, HELLLLLPPPPPPP!

You know what is going on! You have answered your own question!!! Relax and enjoy 'it' whatever 'it' is. It will all be ok! There are things that go beyond are realm of knowledge. Somethings are not meant to be explained and this is so with our 'soulmates'. Perhaps there are unseen forces out there guiding us. I know I have been very close to my grandmother who has since passed(my only grandparent!). We were very close!!! At night when I see the first evening star, I ask her to send me someone to love. I believe they are helping me. Could this be her helping me out! I believe in miracles and I think it is true. I will just have to wait and see. God, I do miss her so much!

Let me first start out by thanking you for lending me your ear and helping me to see what was right in front of my face. Because of you, I now know what it is I need to do, and that is to define the relationship. Currently, things are very up in the air and very flexible ( another way of us trying to avoid any attachments), which is not working for either one of us. Me personally, I'm tired of pretending that things aren't really what they seem. Trying to disguise our feelings has only created problems as oppose to eliminating them. I'm sure though,if we were to sit down and talk, things will be alright between us...and why wouldn't they be, my friend and I, we share an unbreakable bond.
