Hah, yeah she's so damn cute! Even more so this time cos she seemed slightly more ... demure than usual? More feminine and sort of ... I dunno, we usually never have any awkward silences, but this time there were a couple of short periods when she was sort of twirling with her hair and she seemed almost shy. Or expectant, you know? That is adorable. I like taureans in general, the ones that I have met are great beings to be around. A friends Taurus girlfriend is wonderful, and gorgeous. Although Venus aries Mars gemini may come across as playful also; the shyness is perhaps her taurus sun. Her and I share mercury, venus and mars, and I have a Taurus asc. I wonder if I would relate to her in real life, haha.

Is there anything you can read into her words and actions that I explained above, do you think? Like the "soulmates" talk and things like that ... do you think she was just talking - or maybe hinting? I have to admit it was that talk, and the coyness, which made me decide fuck it: I will ask her out this time ...

Organising the "date," she responded super fast and when I said are you still up for it: "Yeah definitely" she wrote. Asked for her number nowadays and she complied lightening fast. Lol, I'm overthinking aren't I ... I should just trust my intuition here ...

Pretty sage advice, but then ... I've known her 20 years, and we kinda lose touch a lot ... so yeah there's this friendship but at the same time it's difficult to say we're close, you know?

Did she also crush on you when you guys were 14? Venus aries crushes pretty hard. I think your intuition is more reliable than our advice here. Intuition is formed in general from your brain processing the data it has received combined with its preconceptions on the said person/topic. So I think what you saw/ think is more important than our perception from what you tell us. I would trust my gut 🙂

And handful - yes, that is for sure haha. I have a pisces sun; I used to be less grounded with poor self esteem, fell for emotionally unavailable men when I was in my early twenties. Now a few years later in late twenties, I feel more grounded and have a knack for recognizing (and running from) bad boys. I am not sure if I can read her all too well. Her shy demeanor, which is new from what you tell us, and her responding so quick to all your texts may mean something. I tend to get very shy around someone I like, more shy than I usually am. I respond fast when I care about someone, particularly a boy I like. Once I build a bond, and know they are mine, then I take my time in responding.

Personally, I tend to like passionate men who can also be lighthearted and playful. Someone who will be honest about it if they care about you, and are willing to build a relationship, it is okay if they take it slow. At the same time, someone who has goals - has a secure job, or plans to land one. Definitely, someone who I can converse with on a variety of topics, cannot be cocky though - that is a turn off. Also someone who gives me space, I am okay if we text once a day or once in 2 days - don't know if this one is pisces sun or aqua moon.

For whatever reason, leos find me interesting, and vice versa. I would have gone for a couple of them, but they were both taken. What I like about these two men is that they can make for an interesting conversation, I never get bored around them. And they are very hardworking - they put their heart and soul into achieving their goals.

Re: whether she crushed on me at 14, I honestly don't know. I never made a move or anything, we weren't at the same school so I didn't see her particularly often. I guess this trend continued into adulthood, it was always fleeting moments here and there mixed in with some MSN Messenger (back in the day) or FB chat, or whatever. Only snippets.

Actually I was massively surprised to see her at all. I didn't even know she was back in the country! She's been working abroad for 3 or 4 years and I thought she was still out there. That's why I was a bit taken aback by her forthrightness re: coming back to the UK, so dismissive of her ex ("I wasn't going to stay in Australia with THAT loser!"), in order to find her "soulmate," all while wrapping her arms around me, stroking my back etc. etc. Lol, it was kind of surreal looking back. Also she seemed to know I was coming and stuff about me, like maybe she'd been asking around? Like she'd ask me a question and be able to interject with some specifics at certain points. And I'd be like ... err, how'd you know that?

Lol, anyway now I'm waffling on again. I will definitely have fun, take it slow and see what happens. All I know is that I've had a big smile on my face for days now. Which can't be a bad thing.

It looks like she has a soft spot for you, from all of that behaviour you described. I don't go so far as to find out the whereabouts of some guy, unless I really like him. And her being very open about failed relationships, sort of letting you know that she is available. That is what it looks like to me. If she is anything like me, she may wanna hang with you more.
