So, lots of bullshit happening at work and for my year end review, i was telling my director that it's frustrating when so much is put on us to do, yet no one thinks we do anything. I said a monkey could see that all the support we provide takes time and resources, yet you still think we don't have a significant (to say the least) work load. He said do i need to take you to human resources. I said if i can take you to the zoo.

I can't believe i still have a job. But this dude is a real FUCKBAG.

Babygirl, I understand if you think your boss is a fuckbag ... however, you didn't really say anything in her to suggest that he is one ... you only told us how you were defiant to him during your review, and spoke up without telling us what he said to provoke your retaliation.

Are you suggesting that he told you that you don't work hard enough? And that it takes you too long to produce?

Look at this from the opposite side of the spectrum. At first, you were upset, but, now look at the other side of his actions/words to you.

If he thinks this of your work ethics, performance that he would say this to you, and you would respond back defensively, and STILL have your job after all this .... then this is a clear indication that he doesn't think those negative things of your work performance because if he did, you'd be terminated long before the review.

Right now, people are dying for a job, desperate ... there's more people than he could possibility choose from to replace you ... and the fact that you are still employed, if he truly felt this way about your work, then you'd be gone.

You're still there ... which means he does actually regard your employment there highly.

my post wasn't meant to be taken very deeply. I'm extremely frustrated at work with changing directors, my manager moved on so i'm directly under my director and he don't have a clue. the good ol' boy network put him in this position and he doens't have the skills to be a director. it's sad actually. so the trickle down of his lack of leadership is extremely frustrating.

just half venting without explaining.

i'm aware of the job market and what's out there and how replaceable i am. very thankful for my job and have intense passion about what i do. he is just making it so miserable that i'm starting to look else where. doubt i can find something that equates to where i am now, but i don't live to work, i work to live. so i'll see how much longer i can stand it.

NOOO THANKS. This new guy i hear they are putting in here is a puppet. They are hiring him to do exactly what they want which makes no sense. I live in a financials world. bring a salesman in to manage that and they have no clue, no idea of what the fuck is going on nor do they care. it's bad right now and with the market the way it is, it's scary the decisions some of our VPs are making. it's like umm duh do you not see wtf the auto industy is going through— ya lets follow them. That's a great plan. so instead of helping our stake holders get with the times and better manage their business, they want to remove the "tactical" side of operations and lets focus on the over all picture. well witout the tactical side education, developing, your won't get a good picture of the overall. so then, lets as a company make huge decisions based off of BAD data. ya, that's a good idea too. this is what my direcotr is trying and succeeding in and it's just fuckin scary.

UGH sorry
