Virgo girl with a crush on a gemini guy

I like this guy in my class a lot.
I think he's funny, charming, and really intelligent (boy oh boy can he lead a discussion about Baudelaire)
Anyways, I've noticed that in class when I'm looking at the teacher I notice him looking at me in my peripheral vision
and when I turn to see who it is, it's him and also when he realizes that I've 'caught' him staring at me he hurriedly looks away with a slight sense of embarrassment. And I know that I'm not just imagining it because my friend who's also in the class tells me that she sees him looking at me also.

SO, my question is for all you gemini's (especially gemini guys) should I make the first move by going and sitting next to him during class or would that drive him away since they tend to like 'the chase'?

I'd also like to mention that he was born on the cusp between gemini and cancer but still technically a gemini.

and his rising sign is Virgo

I guess I just needed that extra nudge to take the first step to get to know him.
I also keep thinking about a bizarre encounter he and I had in our dorms the other day.
I was walking into the building right when he was leaving and the first thing he says to me was
"do you smoke pot?" . I was absolutely flabbergasted and I did not know how to respond.
He really threw me into a tail-spin! I replied that I haven't tried it and that it was kind of a random question
to ask me. But now that I think about it I'm pretty sure he was just inviting me to chill with him while he smoked.

I think you should smile or something when you catch him staring at you. Give him a sign that you are also interested.

If he was shy he wouldn't really ask you if you smoke pot out just like that...

To me I get confused a lot by his actions. When he's not talking to me he just stares at me like with doe eyes and mouth agape. When he talks to me he acts completely different: totally non-chalant, confident, doesn't really seem to care enough to even look me in the face or sit up straight when he's talking to me.

As a virgo who likes stability his wishy-washy ways are starting to get on my nerves and I don't know if the pro's out weigh the cons with him.

I think I've done a pretty good job with that but I don't know if he's a) caught on b)caught on but doesn't care c) is leading me on d)playing the field.


I've also heard that if a gemini likes you, they will make it known but he hasn't really done that yet so I guess I should back off and find me a nice first decan taurus boy 😉

He is not wishy washy. You are getting angry because you think things that do not exist.

When you think that he is staring at you he is just thinking about things. wHEN he is talking to you he is expressing you what he truly feels which is nothing more than friendship.

I am sorry to be a bit harsh but it is better if you get out of this now rather than latter. Geminis know what they want since the first minute they see you and it would take lots of effort to change this permanently.

Learning to let go will hopefully make me stronger. Also, I feel like a lot of my friends have been leading me on to think that he is interested in me so that just fed my hope for his desire in me to be real. But at the same time I should have not been so easily swayed to believe everything that they told me.
Anyways, life is about learning as much as you can and I think I have definitely learned a new and better way to approach these types of things.
