Both 21.

This is a very passionate combination that can be exhausting.

You are the one he never got. Which is an interesting challenge.
He respects your strength and self-respect,
however you should keep your distance until he matures.
Considering he's drunk texting you, he has some growing up to do.
He's struggling with his feelings for you and doesn't know how to deal with all that passion, emotion, pride and other Leo tendencies yet, and this could reek havoc on your nerves and confuse you. And you are already stressed just from a few texts. That is only a fraction of the drama you will have to deal with. Keep him as a friend at a distance.

You both are only 21, IMO this is not the best age for LeoM/CanW.

This is really accurate. If we did date, it would not be as perfect as he thinks it would.

Don't get me wrong, I think it was brave of you to share your thoughts. However, there's no story here.

We just see a Leo in pain because we understand what it's like to finally meet that person and by the "craziness" of the past, lose chances with that person.

Then we see a Cancer who doesn't feel romantic love for the Leo in pain. She likes talking to the Leo and doesn't mind hanging out with him when he comes around to visit.

It's hard to give an opinion. Unless there's something specific to give an opinion about. No?

Yeah, you're right. I guess I don't really know what I'm looking for by posting this.

if i were to give advice to leo instead, i would tell him to cut it out, forget about you, cut off all communication and all that stuff. at least for now until he heals. you wont be able to be friends unless he forgets about his feelings for you. see leos are quite picky and they know this. once they have feelings for someone, its hard to let go of both the feelings and the person. how he acts right now is his coping mechanism. knowing he can't be with you, being rejected and as a result, losing what you had before as best friends. just that. dont take it personally. it's just how leos are, imo. but they would not want to ever hurt people they love.
