Everytime I had tarot reading has been with two years apart and with a different person. On both readings I got the: "in 9 months..." deadline for something to happen. The first time, I was like- "Ok. Let's wait and see..." Nothing relevant happened after 9 months but something slightly relevant did happen earlier right after 9 weeks of the reading. Two years later I had a second tarot reading, with a different person, and without even asking anything the person says the same words again: "in 9 months..." You can imagine the look I gave her as she was saying that -"Oh! Really?..." -I was thinking to myself- "...Really?".

So I'm asking you this:

Is the number 9 a recurring number readers tend to use in all their readings?

Did you have a reading where they gave you a timeline for something and it turned out to be actually accurate?

As I understand it, if they tell you bad stuff is going to happen then it does.
If they tell you good stuff is going to happen it doesn't. I find this quite disconcerting as it throws the whole positive thinking thing out the window.

If you are thinking positively - not just hoping something good is going to happen, you KNOW it is going to happen....and then bubkus. So what was the point of wasting positive energy on something that never happened?

I was told I would meet "my" guy in "27". Could have been 27 days, 27 weeks or 27 months - she laughed and said she hoped it wasn't 27 years, but she kept getting the number 27.

Of course I did meet a great guy (it was 27 months and 3 days to be exact. Of course I had forgotten all about the reading at that stage and when I figgered it out I was amazed.

I was also amazed (and a bit pissed off) when I later discovered he was married. Apparently the chick didn't foresee that bit. Quite an important detail I would have thought. Never mind.

So looking back to what she said to you and what really happened, do you still think he was "your" guy? -I'm starting to believe these people just love to add drama to their readings-

I was once told something similar, I was suppossed to meet someone who would be of great impact in my love life. And I did meet someone as she said. But he turned out to be an average jerk...

If he wasn't already married to someone else, then yes, I would want him to be my guy.

And don't start feeding me b/s about the so called 50% divorce rate - it's a myth. No one gets divorced.

The lady wasn't dramatic about it. It was just part of a bunch of stuff that she was telling me. Funny thing, she described his hands, his job and where he came from... really sucks man. Why isn't he the one?

I wonder if we met the wrong guys by accident? Mr Right was supposed to be in that cafe or wherever you were but he got a flat tyre and was running late and you ended up in the line next to Average Jerk guy??

Hmm, nah. Probably the thing is that interpreting the cards is a lot more complicated than we think, and card readers just try to make something positive out of what they see in them.

I remember in a reading I was told that I had to go to a certain state in order to get the help I needed for school. At the end I got the help I needed not from going to such state but from a project that was named after it. So, you see? It's kind of like the scene on "500 days of summer" where you have 'expectations' vs 'reality'. Being 'expectations' what card readers interpret and 'reality' what we will experience :S... Huh, wait. Did I just say that? Jesus! Why do I even keep on going to have readings on the first place! AaH!

Don't diss yourself. I know some people have a special gift. And it's awesome they can share it with us and I am happy to pay them for it.
Also quite certain there are a lot of crooks and shysters out there just taking people's money which is fraud and they should be run out of town and shot and pissed on.

It's great if you have found someone who is the real deal and who can communicate what they see to you in a manner that makes sense.
It's so cool that they said you have to go to Delaware (or wherever) for assistance so your mind is going "huh? I am not going to Delaware. She is crazy! No way that is happening"
And then you get help thru the Delaware Project (based in Atlanta or somewhere) and it all clicks in.

All good. Stick with whatever works for you!
